  — Playtime. Escape. Recaptured. Repeat. Koichi’s lovely father kept that pattern up in check, for the poor scraggly girl could never bite off her tracker in time before he found her again.

     Today, she thought every time, today will be the day.

   Hungry and tired, she entered a convenience store in hopes she’ll find something good to eat this time, even if she had to steal it.

     For the sake of preserving the marker ink on the smartphone, she carefully took off the protective casing that he had signed on and placed it back into her bag.

  — Aside from school biology trips, there was never any reason to come to an aquarium, especially alone. Tanya hardly saw the point of coming to a place just to watch fish swim about in the confines of a tank. Still, she was invited, why should she turn down her friends.

     As she waited for her friends to finish walking about, she let out a sigh as she watched a dolphin do flips in the water.

               Humans were strange. That’s all the little android could really tell so far. Though, even though the other might seem weird, Yeva clearly felt that they seemed to be rather kind towards her. Not only did they saved her life, but they also seemed to try and comfort the android. She guessed it by the pat she received on her head. It was…nice, even though it did felt strange. 

           ❛ I should take you to a place where we could take care of your knuckles. ❜ she stated suddenly, as her orbs shifted to look at Tanya’s hand.  ❛ Maybe this way I could show you how much I appreciate the things you had done for me.     Tanya was pleasantly surprised. This cute girl was concerned about an insignificant injury when most would simply accept the ‘ you’re welcome ‘ and walk away. No payment was ever necessary nor was there even a need for a thank you. 

   It sort of... made her feel a little warm inside that someone cared.

Now what has this turned into? A game of who could act like they were extremly nice the longest? Snow could easily act in a way to win, but right now he was actually concerned about the other wanting to try and pay. 

Smile was shown to the other, and Snow leaned forward a little. Putting a clean glass now onto the counter. His head tilted slightly to the side, innocently as possibly he tried to make some kind of peace offering;

“ Spend your money on a second drink rather than trying to pay me the cleaning. How about that? “

— The olive branch extended to him was helpful, if one was observant, they would be able to spot his shoulders begin to relax slightly. Enough time was wasted, the boy fished out money to pay for the previous drinks and the current one he was about to order. 

       ❝ Shochu on the rocks. Thank you very much. ❞

    With the tone and the simplicity of the choice of drink, it was obvious he was thankful but there was no way he would say it directly. For now, the bartender had won, he was allowed to gloat about it later once Akihisa took the drink from the counter and walked off to go earn his paycheck from the fat lady who had been eyeing him up earlier.
