Okay, I don't know if you've seen that one Jude Bellingham video on YouTube with Topps from like 4 months ago. But in that video he's asked who's his best friend in football outside of real Madrid and he answered Gio Reyna. Nothing too special right? Except that every damn person in the comments of that video or clips from it, decided to know better who's his best friend. The comments are literally filled with things like "Erling??!" "Jamal?" "Trent?!" and that is so fucking weird to me, like WHO ARE YOU TO DECIDE WHO'S HIS BESTIE WTF?? I understand it with Trent because they're really close but I'm sure Jude took the question more on club only bases and not the national team. But then with Jamal for example, people act like they're the closest people ever just because two childhood pictures of them exist. I'm sure they both respect each other a lot and they're friends I guess but I think I know enough about them to know that they are NOT best friends or something. Then Erling, I get that too at least a little bit but if you're a fan of Jude you KNOW that he's always been closer to Gio than to Erling. I mean it was Gio and Erling at first actually. And after Jude joined Dortmund too, Gio and Jude started to become closer. And I just think all of that is just disrespectful towards Gio. Like Imagine one of your best friends is just showing appreciation towards you and then all their fans are like "Ew no, that's not his bestie" EVEN THO HE JUST EXACTLY THAT TWO SECONDS AGO. I'm sure that if Gio was as popular as the others there wouldn't be these comments, but just because he isn't a 100 million worth super talent people get mad.
He actually still is!! He went on a half year loan to Nottingham last season, but is back now and even already played a few minutes against Frankfurt last weekend :)
