SPOILER ALERT: (DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVEN'T WATCH THE MOVIE)

Eternal (2021) Movie Timeline

(According to the dates projected during the Movie and the various dialogues by the characters)

5000 BC Mesopotamia

- Arrival of Eternals on Earth

575 BC Babylon

- 4 425 years has passed since the Eternals arrival on earth.

- Ajak reports to Arishem about their progress in eliminating the Deviants on Earth

- Ajak tells Ikaris he is allowed to live a life and tell Sersi how he felt.

539 BC Babylon

- Ikaris is told the truth of the mission by Ajak

(The Babylon empire dissolved in 539 BC, it can be assumed this is when they left to pursue roaming Deviants)

400 AD Gupta Empire

- 9 centuries has passed since Babylon, Sersi and Ikaris are shown getting married in a traditional Hindu wedding ceremony.

1521 AD Tenochtitlan

- The Eternals has been on earth for around 6, 521 years.

- The Deviant numbers has dwindled to the point that the fighters are hunting down the last of them.

(Note: Phastos said whilst in Tenochtitlan that after the others kill the Deviants they were sent after, they would have eliminated them all from the planet.)

- Still in Tenochtitlan, after confirming all the Deviants are gone, Ajak makes the decision to split up the team as they have no active role anymore.

- Druig takes the people of Tenochtitlan to the Amazon where the Eternals last lived together.

- The other Eternals split up in pairs and goes to separate parts of the globe.

Sprite with Kingo to Europe/Middle East/Asia

Ajak with Phastos to North/South America (Note: This is just speculations as the two were last seen together.)

Ikaris with Sersi to Europe/Russia/Alaska

- Gilgamesh takes the Mahd Wy'ry inflicted Thena with him and they planned to settle somewhere.

- Makkari goes back to where their ship 'Domo' is now buried underneath the ruins of Babylon.

16th - 20th Century

- time period projected to be when Ikaris decided to leave Sersi.

- Kingo leaves Sprite in Macedonia, then proceeds to found the greatest Bollywood dynasty in Mumbai.

August 1945 Hiroshima

- Phastos witnesses the effects of his influence on the advancement of humanity's technologies as a bomb decimate entire cities. Ajak comforts him.

Modern Era

Jan to June 2018 A.D - the Snap, disappearance of half the population

October 2023 A.D - the Blip, return of half the population

Late (Ber month) 2024 A.D - events of the Eternals present day

7 days before the Emergence

- Ajak is killed by Deviants

6/5 days before the Emergence

- Sersi and Sprite are attacked by a deviants capable of healing itself. They are saved by the timely arrival of Ikaris whom drove it off.

- The Eternal Trio goes to Ajak's house in the South Dakota and finds their leader's dead body

4/3 days before the Emergence

- The trio reunite with Kingo whilst he is in a set shooting for his upcoming movie.

- They fly a private jet to Australia to meet with Thena and Gilgamesh

3/2 days before the Emergence

- The 6 reunited Eternals goes to Druig's village, hidden in the Amazons.

- Sersi and Ikaris goes to Chicago to recruit the Eternal Technopath, Phastos.

1 day before the Emergence

- the remaining Eternals converge in their ship, Domo where they plan their next moves.

The day of the Emergence

- This is when the Final battle takes place.

2 weeks after the Emergence

- Thena, Druig and Makkari leave Earth to seek out other Eternals.

Unknown time after the Emergence

- Arishem arrives on Earth and calls to him the remaining Eternals. He takes them and disappear into the void of space.

The Ikersi Timeline

- Sersi says she and Ikaris were together for 5 000 years to Dane. We know they got married in 400 A.D and that they were hovering around each other since 575 B.C. Sprite tells Dane that Sersi and her boyfriend broke up over a century before present day but Sprite has the tendency to mess with the facts in her tales so it could be longer than that or shorter. It is a fact that the separation occured after their time in Tenochtitlan so 16th century to 20th century.

In total, the Ikersi couple had

- 3 Millenium and 8 centuries of Courtship (3 400 B.C to 400 A.D)

- 1 millenium and 2 centuries of Marriage (400 A.D to ???? A.D.)

- And give or take, 4 centuries to a century of separation (???? A.D to 2024 A.D)

[???? is used to denote a year between 1500 A.D to 1900 A.D]

Location of each Eternals in Present Day in order of Appearance

- Sersi and Sprite lives in London

- Ajak has a small country cottage in South Dakota

- Kingo is a Bollywood actor in Mumbai

- Thena and Gilgamesh have settled and build a life together somewhere in the plains of Australia.

- Druig is still living in the Amazons with the descendants of the Aztec people from Tenochtitlan.

- Phastos is living with a husband and son in Chicago

- Makkari is still hanging out in the Domo, buried underneath ruins in Iraq.

- Ikaris??? (No idea where this guy lived in present day but my guess is Alaska cause of the Deviants.)

First Of All, that boy has a very specific Aesthetic he's got his style Down every goddamn look he wears is so sexy and you want me to believe he was like yeah I'm cool with this glorified fucking tree branch??? no! second of all, and on a similar note, have you SEEN chenqing? that thing is so fucking gorgeous and intricate I simply cannot suspend my disbelief enough to accept that wei wuxians sword would not match. third of all part one, wei wuxian is part of one of the five big sects? raised by the sect leader?? they most certainly have the money to buy that boy a nice sword and you'd figure that to Keep Up Appearances they'd fucking Want him to have one. fucking ouyang zizhen, a boy I love and cherish but is nonetheless from an itty bitty sect, has a nicer sword than him. third of all part two, jiang fengmian spoiled the Fuck out of wei wuxian. even if madam yu treated him like shit and thought of him as a servant, jiang fengmian treated him like a son so Why wouldn't he get wei wuxian a Nice Pretty Fancy Sword!!! it makes no sense folks!!!!!
