I’ve been kind of throwing around what specifically is clicking that thing in my brain and I think I’m going to have to do some introspection. if anyone else is a [family role] archetrope or embodies a family member in any way I’d love to hear about it. might help me out with this one..

I have had a lot of archetrope thoughts lately, I’ve had some essays cooking up but I feel a little discouraged I think? I wish there was more discussion, sharing, engagement. I’m scared to kind of break out of tumblr, reach out. I want to share my life and my experience, and while I don’t care for popularity or notes, I wish it was recieved and understood. not so much a vent or an angry fist shake but I am just tentative. sad that tumblr is becoming less about community. I want to share, I also want to be heard

sometimes I get so caught up in discourse and infighting and trying so hard to be validated that I forget about the simple joys of being physically nonhuman.

it is not all dysphoria and hate. sometimes it’s just me, a bat, sitting in my room. and there’s really no more to say about it! I’m a bat, this is my body, so my body is that of a bat. I get to feel the cold night air and feel like home. I think that’s cool
