Sorry it’s early but you really can’t use fanfiction terms in a non fanfiction context like if someone is trying to sell me a book to read and they tell me there’s an enemy to lovers I would be annoyed because why are you spoiling the story lol
#I once had a friend who wanted me to watch heartstopper and all they told me was ‘it’s gay you’ll love it’#and I was like#that tells me literally nothing about it#okay it’s gay what’s the plot??? what setting are the characters in?#who are the characters and why do I care?#hazbin hotel is gay but so is Undertale#those are wildly different vibes that share one descriptor#I can’t watch heartstopper now lol coz they ruined it for me#don’t care if it’s good or not I’ll never be consuming that media

This is something I'm seeing more and more on AO3 that I'd never seen when I first got into fandom stuff, so I wanted to find out how you all feel about it.
What are your thoughts about seeing posted fanfiction that isn't commissioned, where the creator says that they have never read/watched the source material? For example, someone putting out a fanfic for a show they've never watched that includes the tag Author Has Never Seen Suchandsuch.
#I suppose it depends#if I’m desperate for content and/or the tropes or concepts or whatever that they’re using is something I’m interested in I’m all for reading#or if it’s from a fandom whose source material is very broad

My take on Blaze's design if she was in Boom-verse... Nothing much changed but there're more room to show off her gold accessories indicating her being a royal princess. A sheer shawl is added bc I think it's whimsical and dreamy in terms of design as well as acting like a barrier (not really... lol)
