A Word for Whoever is Listening.

Today I just found out from the record of the police news conference, that the person who attacked Allison and I was Hastings Bludgeoner. We were attacked by a serial killer. I never thought that this was ever something I would hear in my entire life, that not only is my best friend dead... no, MURDERED but it was by someone the police should have caught by now.

What will it take? I gave them a verbal description, and told them everything, let them take all of my belongings and keep them for forensic evidence, but they still say they have nothing. Where is the justice for Allison? For myself? For the other 9 women in the New England area that their live were horrifically taken? Where is our justice?

So, I guess I survived a killer.

Hi guys. I know not a lot of people follow me on here, and I don't know if any of you would particularly care, but my friend Allison and I were attacked by a man up on Fletcher Mountain in Hastings Maine. The man was wearing average hiking gear and was brandishing a hiking stick. He was full of such rage, and everything moved so fast. Allison's ankle was messed up... and she couldn't get away. I heard her scream, but I don't know why I couldn't stop running... to turn back and help.

I'm a survivor, but my friend? She is gone, and I can't help but feel like it's all my fault.

QUICK ROADTRIP UPDATE!

Wow. Tonight, has been so so much fun. Allison got some of her mom's booze from the liquor cabinet. Malibu rum, my absolute favorite... mix it with a little coke and boom! We were off to the races. We had a great day hiking today. It was a little overcast, but hey, a little rain didn't hurt anyone.

We bumped into this super nerdy guy on the hiking trail, who was by himself and was totally "sus". Also! Allison was an idiot and decided it was a good idea to wear Vans on a hike and rolled her ankle. It'll be a blast helping her down the mountain tomorrow, in whatever shape she's in.

Ice Cream with My Best-y!

So, a lot of cool stuff happened today! My friend Allison took me to the town of Hastings, Maine, and OMG do they have so really good homemade ice cream. I got a cone of Lavender Honey, and it was so good! The drive to Hastings was about 30 minutes and I genuinely find it crazy that this is the first time coming here! In Hastings they have a lot of really awesome hiking trails, and just some cool historical sights. So, I will be off for the rest of the day exploring the wilderness, just me and the bestie!

What a Raid Today!

My guild has always been a bit behind when it comes to progression in WoW, but finally, The Fellowship of Fools (my guild), has completed the Crucible of Storms, and downed the boss, Uu'nat (after 7 wipes)! Like for a minute there, I was really beginning to think that we weren't going to be able to do it and wait till Thursday but here we are. Better late than never! And just in time for Shadowlands! (We'll ignore the fact that there is another raid to clear but who reeeaaalllyyy cares?)

Tomorrow my friend and I are going to go out into the world of the spooky scary COVID to get some ice cream, so hopefully all goes well, and I don't catch the -rona!
