fiction of interest
I was reading some Donna Haraway and came across something of interest in her footnotes. She was discussing the feminist knee-jerk reaction to the prominence of vision in subjective thinking and the implication the gaze that has been critiqued so often. She counters this by footnoting the fiction story, The Persistence of Vision by John Varley, that might be of interest to read altogether and discuss at our next meeting. The Kindle version is $3.99 and this includes quite a few other stories.
