So, watching kpop demon hunters and videos of winx songs together (yeah ik im insane) had me thinking...

The Winx and Huntr/x meeting...

Soooo yeah.. here's some headcanons on how that would go down. The brainrot has taken over god damn..

Musa and Bloom, at least I think, are the main kpop lovers in the group. At least, before they introduced the rest of the girls to it. While doing homework or chores in Gardenia while at Mike and Vanessa's house, they listen to Huntr/x's music.

They go to a Huntr/x concert. Demon shenaniganry ensues.

Bloom and Flora want to help. The other girls don't think its a good idea to show themselves at a concert. They do so anyway since they're t h e w i n x

After the fight, the two groups meet up, thank each other, and ofc fangirl over each other

Mira's sorta suspicious. The only magic the three of them have seen before is through demons.

Stella, ofc, immediately gushes over their glittery costumes. Her and Zoey are already becoming friends.

Bloom's the one who explains it all, that they're, in fact, fairies from another dimension who fight evil.

Huntr/x thinks that's absolutely badass while Rumi asks if they want to hang out together. Ofc they do and its amazing

The way huntr/x uses their music to fight gives musa an idea to amplify their magic through their instruments in their band (aisha=drums, stella and musa=guitar, tecna=keytar, bloom=vocals for some reason, and flora=bass).

Bloom and Rumi get along really well. They're both determined and tend to overwork themselves. Bloom tells Rumi that she can relate to feeling like an outsider. She tells her that she didn't know that she was a fairy until later.

They all share numbers and become friends and allies

Whenever Huntr/x are in or near Gardenia, they always find a way to secretly hang out. Rumi, Mira, and Zoey love hanging out the with Winx girls. Not only do they get high class tea and gossip, but they feel like they truly be their goofy selves. While they love their fans, the girls of Huntr/x need an escape every once in a while.

Huntr/x knows that whenever they need backup, the Winx can always help them out to kick some demon ass

soooooooo watching kpop demon hunters had me thinking. yknow winx in concert?

the album that had the winx in a band? well..

What if the Trix formed a girl group to rival the winx band?

The dynamic between the girls in the movie remind me of the trix but good so it just sounded fun.

Yknow who bobby, their manager, would be?

I can already imagine this.

The Trix see the Winx band on stage on earth from Cloudtower or wherever their home base is, decide to cause some chaos, and form a band of their own, darcy mind controls their fans into liking them, and knut is magically disguised as a human manager.

Right when the Winx see them, they can immediately tell that they're indeed a trio of evil witch sisters from another dimension. Stella and Tecna are watching them like a hawk. Bloom is ready to burn those bitches, Flora has a vine shaped sword at the ready, Aisha has the entire ocean on standby and Musa is this close to cutting the sound on only their song.

Sooo uuuuuuhhh here's some random lore headcanons i thought of since rainbow are cowards. i know I posted about some in a previous post but I GOT NEW ONES. Feel free to add your own

General: eyes glow when using magic, pointy ears of different lengths based on vibes, idk if witches have pointy ears

Darcy's fingers are darkened black aka darkhold fingers, idk if I like it in her base form or transformed

Stormy's hair turns to a storm cloud when transformed (we can make it her base hair if it sounds cool), lighting scars are on her body

Icy's fingers or hands turn to ice claws, maybe on other parts of her body, ice becomes her skin. When non transformed, maybe they take the form of scars that look like frostbite?

Flora's blood is chlorophyll, maybe her body turns to wood with thorns and vines

Stella's true form is a being of just sunlight, her civilian form has skin that sparkles like a twlight vampire or turns holographic in sunlight

Tecna is an android. Im not sure if she has seams or if she has off color skin

Not sure about musa (feel free to add any ideas. I'm severely dumb)

Gills for aisha in her base form, I saw art of her having fin like ears and I liked that

I read hcs that bloom exhales smoke and I liked that.

Maybe the ends of Bloom's hair turn to fire and the more she's in the magic dimension, she grows dragon horns, her teeth get a bit longer and has some scales on her?

They are them, but good. A fiery short hair (Stormy and Zoey), a calm goth (Darcy and Mira) and a balanced leader (Icy and Rumi).

The only difference is thats Huntrix fights with music and weapons; the Trix with more direct magic.

The name of the girls group is HUNTRIX or HUNTRX, I really don't know if it's with i or not. But still, is not beating the Trix allegation.

I think it's super sad how few ‘magical creatures’ there are in Winx apart from fairies, pixies and witches, or how little they are used. The teachers are diverse, and I really like that. But I just wish that it could've been explored a bit more.

Especially talking about planets and their inhabitants. I am not sure if it's still in my drafts or if I ever posted how I would like for them to be more unique in their appearance, and perhaps have special traits/marks/whatever.

Anyway, I think the best way would've been to use the specialists to showcase different magical beings/species. Let's talk about it.

Helia, you beautiful man. I saw fairy Helia already and believe it's not a novel concept but it's an amazing one, especially considering we meet no male fairy but see them on Domino / Sparx (if I remember it correctly...?). He could be a fairy of creation! Similar to Flora and her natural powers, while maintaining his artistic spirit. It would even be funnier if Saladin was a fairy too but still is the headmaster of the Red Fountain.

Alternatively, Helia could be an elf. Young Saladin resembles Palladium a bit and Helia has these typical male elf features if we are honest. He would be connected to magic still. Potentially be a Wood or High Elf!

Last but not least: A merman. I think it's the long hair mainly but I think he just fits the vibe of a mythical creature with a connection to nature.

Riven, my prince of darkness. My first thought is and always will be that he could've been a vampire. It's basic but vampires are iconic and could pair so well with Darcy - mental manipulation, dark powers, control of the shadows. I do not fuck with Winx vampires though. I have not a favourite vampire system but you best believe he gets the advantages while having no disadvantages.

One could object that vampires do not really fit the aesthetic and vibe of Winx. I agree. Riven could be a wizard too or have magical powers fitting the vibe of an arcane trickster. But even better would be something draconic. He got that temper, the vibe and could have his own fiery powers.

Sky, literal king. One could have thought that Riven would be a wizard but no, it's Sky! Listen, I think Eraklyon hates witches and had their own trials and such. What would be more shocking than their own prince being a wizard! Wizard would mean the male version of witch here. Erendor seems like the type to have an affair or Samara is a secret witch! The potential...

It also adds spice to Bloom's and Sky's relationship, seeing that wizards sorcerers hunted Earth Fairies, which Bloom could qualify as. Like not really but maybe yes. It's complicated.

I do not see Sky as something else except maybe a werewolf as the contrast to Riven's vampire but again, werewolves do not really fit the vibe - do they?

Brandon, the knight in shining armour. To be honest, I do not see Brandon being anything else than "human". Maybe a Paladin? He could even be a winged one like Avalon. The wings could be foldable.

If Sky were a werewolf, Brandon would be one too. They seem like two boys who play as pups and then grow up to be pack leaders or something.

I really love Brandon and I hope nobody thinks I gave him no thought because I did. I just really like him as he is and there was no mythical creature that I would need to see in the Winx.

Timmy, a cutiepatootie.

Aside from Helia, I could also see Timmy being a fey-like creature, for example fairy, elf, leprechaun. First, I thought of a dwarf though. They are commonly presented as skilled craftsmen. He doesn't fit the look of a stereotypical dwarf though and I am not talking height (smol king Timmy would rule), so he could be like the one breaking tradition: becoming a specialist, pursuing a fairy (from Zenith!) and such. From my point of view, Timmy could be an elf as well! It would be a great way to explore the difference between elves. I see him with magical powers and how he at first is clumsy with them but growing confident as person, he develops them more.

Nabu, our favourite alive husband. Strictly speaking, Nabu is not a specialist, but I will involve him anyway! He's a wizard, that's a fact. But he's also allowed to explore his possibilities. Obviously, of course: merman. He would still have magical powers, but he would also be a beautiful merman with a gorgeous tail.

Actually, I like him being a wizard very much. I just really would've loved to see mermen before Season 5.

I am thinking about writing something that could explore this but knowing me, I never publish it. Anyway, this is all just ranting and imagining. You can happily share your opinion or protest mine or whatever!

Flora was always my favorite Winx girl

I love when magic has an effect on the body & soul of its caster. like!! you don’t get to be a reality-bending demi-god and walk away with no strings attached. there’s always a price.

Bloom’s dragon fire consumes her from the inside, leaving lightning-like tissues of scars along her limbs - be careful, rumbles the Great Dragon from within, don’t let your emotions consume you. Bloom wails from the pain and clutches whoever is in the vicinity - but cannot fully stop it. just prevent it or treat the aftermath.

Musa gets migraines. Stella becomes ill when she doesn’t get her daily dose of sunshine. Aisha’s senses get muddy sometimes, almost as if she’s submerged underwater. Nabu experiences uncontrollable tremors in his arms, when he creates too many of his phantoms. all of those are - yes, horrible to experience but manageable enough for the school (and the Magic community at large) to tell them to just suck it up and weather through.

once you get your enchantix though, you start developing… unique abilities. almost like, in achieving the final fairy form, you became one with your brand of magic.

Bloom starts producing smoke. Like - she snorts at something funny Riven or Sky say, and literal puffs of smoke emerge from her nose. It’s jarring at first (“Bloom Peters, when did you start smoking? do you know that it kills??”) but quickly becomes endearing once they realise it’s not life-threatening in any way (after speed-running through like fifteen Magix apothecaries). Among her other ‘oddities’: too hot to cuddle with (only Stella can stand the high temperature, since she has a resistance to heat), becomes strangely overprotective and a little possessive, her eyes sometimes become a startling orange hue as if she’s embodied by the great dragon himself (it’s just a party trick).

Stella becomes more ethereal. In certain lights, her skin looks translucent - like a mirage weaved with moonlight. Her hair glints in the sun, almost too bright to like at; her touch feels phantom-like. She becomes even more beautiful, but less - human, earth-bound, Stella-esque. A curse and a blessing, that one.

Musa’s hearing gets really fucking good. She has a steadily growing dossier of blackmail on every student in Alfea - simply because shut doors or longer distances are no longer obstacles for her. It’s annoying too, because she can’t exactly turn it off - and now she gets to hear all the things people say about her, behind her. but here’s a consolation - she can influence other creature’s emotions through the melodies she hums! like how in canon, she pacified the bird Roc and brought mirth to the arguing fairies.

Flora gets much sturdier. Her skin harder than bark; her body able to withstand thirst and hunger for much longer than the rest. It’s honestly so intimidating. Here’s this sweet young woman — known to cry for trampled flowers and cut weeds!! — absolutely bodying a sharp ass ice shard that Icy attacked her with. It just — crumbles upon colliding with Flora’s body. insane and frankly so so hot for others to see.

As per the negatives… I like the idea of Flora being able to connect to the memories of nature around her and literally absorb the pain/fear/anguish of whatever she witnessed.

Aisha and Bloom are similar, in a sense that both of them are vessels to primordial divinities of their universe — Bloom is the holder of the Dragon Flame, and Aisha is the child of the Infinite Ocean. therefore, both experience a more extreme transformation than their girl friends. like, Aisha’s dreams are infiltrated by visions of past and future; memories of those who were lost to the Ocean. she dreams of Politea, of Tritanus, of her mer cousins and ancestors, and even those who were not yet born. if Aisha was not so mentally wilful, she might’ve folded under the weight of those prophesies.

Aisha can also breathe under water and her body gets the musculature it needs to be on par with her mer cousins while swimming, because why the fuck not?

Tecna - I frankly have no ideas for and would love to hear suggestions!
