Help me afford a plushie of my childhood dog (please)!

I had to put my childhood dog down on Monday of this week, and the grieving process has been... awful, to say the least. She was ready to go, but that hasn't made it any easier. I'm being given some of her ashes, thankfully, but it's killing me to not be able to see her as she was. We'd had her since I was three years old, and she's been by my side from the moment we got her until I held her in my arms for the last time. Her name was Meka (Mee-ka). Here's some pictures of her, if you'd like to see. She's still the prettiest dog i've ever seen <3

And while donations are so so so very appreciated, I do recognize my ability to give something back, so i'm willing to do commissions in order to earn it. The amount of times i've been almost yelled at by people for having subtitles on is astounding. Just because i am capable of hearing to a certain level does not mean it's adequate enough to where I don't need help, and it 'getting in the way' is a small price for being inclusive of your loved ones, who probably just want to enjoy the media as much as you do. It's not a crime for me to want to use a feature offered when it's offered, especially since that feature literally dictates whether I understand what i'm watching or not. Y'all can stand having subtitles on for a little bit, I promise! If you support aides like canes, you can support accessibility features for others. Make subtitles more accepted and widespread. you might not need them, but me and millions of others do!

Can we please please normalize subtitles?

it’s fucked up that the constellations don’t know they’re constellations. we draw lines between the stars so they can tell our stories so we can make some sense of it all so they have been imbued with fragments of us. we have made the stars an anthology and they have no damn idea. i wonder what the stars see. the concept of local 2 dimensionality makes my throat close up. it makes me fractal. what can the stars see that i cannot? do they see me, half-stardust? do they see me, formed from fragments of themselves? i wish i could see myself from the outside. i wonder if it’s blinding.
