One little detail in tutu I always thought was cute is how, post reveal, fakir treats Duck the exact same whether she’s in duck form or human form. Goes to show how he loves her unconditionally, and the body she’s in doesn’t shape his perception of her. Duck’s arc is about feeling inferior to everyone else because of who she is, but never once does fakir waver in treating her with the respect and dignity a person deserves.
That said, this creates amazing potential for comedy post canon. I fully believe he doesn’t give a fuck about coming off as weird and he will have full on seemingly one-sided conversations with his “pet” duck at awkward moments.
Fakir, at McDonald’s, pulls a tiny duck out of his pocket and says, “Duck, what do I do?” And she answers with a quack (translation: get the fries.. you’ll need the energy in the coming days”
This is his normal. Everyone thinks he’s a freak. You see the vision.
