I keep getting ads for these stupid rope games where your goal is to untangle the colored ropes. It's the dumbest puzzle I've seen, not only is it incredibly easy as a concept, but in real life it's as easy as putting a finger between each rope at the top and pulling.

It's a shame all the quotes I see of Samurai Champloo are from the dub, which butchered the actual translation.

For example, when Fuu passed out from drinking what she thought was water but was actually strong alcohol:

Mugen, in Japanese: "I'm gonna rape you, dumb bitch"

Mugen, in English: "Sleeping so carelessly... I could do something to you so easily..."

First one is what he actually says, and it fits his character, obviously. You can tell from the context that what he's saying is basically the same, but it's how he says it that's important and makes it funny, not creepy like the English dub.

Stuff like this is why I seriously advise against watching anime dubs, minus a select few like Fullmetal Alchemist and Soul Eater. It also ruins immersion, because if you're listening to American voice overs of Japanese natives talking, it doesn't make sense. Especially with things like the baseball episode. I can't even imagine how boring that episode would be in English dub, even though it's one of my favorite episodes in the original anime.

It sure would be cool if mentally unstable adults stopped introducing sexuality and made up "gender identities" to children. It's borderline pedophilia. All these kids suddenly coming out as "trans" and "non-binary" aren't some natural occurrence that's "finally being accepted". It's called cultural influence. Without it, they would be normal, and accept that they're male or female. These issues never arose until a mad scientist forced a boy to "transition" into a woman roughly 70 years ago. There's always been gay dudes, feminine dudes and masculine women, but they were fine with who they were. Now it's all about who hates themselves more.

These days, people are just teaching kids how to hate themselves, and frankly, that's fucked up. The entire concept behind being "trans" is that you hate what you're born as and want to change as much as physically possible. Fun fact, males and females even form sentences differently, and use different words. Every "trans woman" I've spoken to has scientifically proven to me that they don't have a female brain. Every "trans man" has done the same. It's a mental illness and needs to be treated. Yeah, I know it's difficult to treat the damage that culture can do, but butchering your genitals and destroying your sexual hormones aren't going to help, in fact most "trans" people kill themselves later in life because they either can't accept that they'll never really be a woman/man, or because they realize they've made a mistake and can't go back, or both. I've been on hormone medications, except they were for cortisol and thyroid production. Too much or too little, not taking them exactly when you need to, can fuck you up, and even lead to psychotic episodes which I'm still trying to recover from months later.

Hormones are not to be fucked with, and neither is the self image of children.

Well that was a long post. I'm gonna try to avoid politics on this blog, but it was something I had to get off my chest. There's a lot about today's world that's worth bitching about. I'm still early in to my journey, I've got a lot to learn, but it's embarrassing to be part of a society that thinks you don't need to learn anything after high-school or a few years at an overrated university.

Today and for years before, politics have been a joke.

Much of our modern failures and shortcomings are a result of the founding of the Federal Reserve. In 1913, a group of incredibly rich men gathered just a few miles from my hometown and plotted a core banking system to control the economy, which succeeded.

Then, not long after, politicians and uneducated citizens alike began a new agenda, spouting that everyone who can legally vote, should. This caused millions of uneducated people to begin voting, solely based on the public image of political candidates, or what they claim they'll accomplish (even setting foot on the moon, which was an actual campaign slogan by John F. Kennedy).

"And, now?" you ask. Well, we have "change candidates", almost certain to win any election simply by claiming to offer change, making everyone's issues magically vanish, which the majority of modern voters eat up. But they never change anything. In fact, the last two (Obama and Trump) have only made things worse.

The Democratic Committee uses dead voters and illegal immigrants with fake voter registrations to get more votes in their favor, even paying people to vote for them. All highly illegal, but no punishments ever came of it.

After so many uneducated people that get all of their information from corrupt and biased media began voting, politicians and government officials were able to low-key pass laws that were hidden within legislative bills that looked good on the surface.

Putting all of this together and reflecting on how our country operates today, you can see that we no longer live in a democracy. It's all a facade, while the government becomes increasingly more corrupt. To even get in, you have to be rich, and if you aren't, political parties and candidates will silence you with ease. Every election, the parties (mostly Democrats, by far) become more and more corrupt, breaking the law over and over again to get what they want, and the government turns the other cheek, because they're being given more power and money by the rich politicians.

Everyone I see discussing politics online or elsewhere know very little of what they're talking about, because they think with their emotions and believe the first thing they see that fits their agendas. Anything that goes against their flow is instantly deemed not only wrong, but downright evil. You are not free, you enclose yourself in an echo chamber, only hearing what you want to believe, confirming your biases, or, the biases you've adopted from other idiots like you. You perform mental gymnastics to appease these biases, and to avoid being wrong. Because how could someone that barely made it out of high-school be wrong? Yes, how could someone that cares more about socializing than education be wrong?

You want to believe you think for yourself and have a heart of gold for those different from you, able to empathize on the spot with whomever you speak to. Until someone truly different from you arises, then you insult and belittle, spouting hypocritical mumbo jumbo left and right, you close your mind and your heart because you're scared to even consider a different thought. Weakness and insecurity are your greatest traits.

That's where we are today in politics. The common folk believe the "I voted" sticker on their chest is a badge, a proof of intelligence. For what, checking a few boxes and signing your name almost coherently? And the rich politicians cackle as they succumb to greed and sociopathic tendencies, which they bestow upon their followers, and their followers drink it up like water from the fountain of youth.

I say; FUCK the media, FUCK the government, FUCK our politicians and the embarrassment that's been made out of our electoral process, and if you vote, there's a very high chance you're the kind of person I can say FUCK YOU to, so FUCK. YOU.

I don't understand the obsession with 16personalities. Of course, the same people that believe all the very general things it says like "you're someone that's caring" because you literally clicked Agree to the question during the test about whether you care about people, are the same people that believe the positions of the planets dictate personality traits and justify their bipolar personality disorder.

I've taken the test 4 times.

4 years ago, it was INFP. A day later, it was INTP. Took it a month later and it was INTP again.

Then I took it again yesterday and it said ISTP, probably just because I told the test I don't like being very social and prefer my own company.

Do I constantly switch between projects and hobbies, never satisfied with what I have? No. Am I some genius with engineering and mechanics? Hell no, I can't even put my old ass motorcycle back together after supposed "routine maintenance".

There's far more than 16 personality types. There's thousands, if not millions. People aren't so basic as to be definable by 16 types. The only thing the test does is try and make you feel good by saying "hey look at all these famous people and TV characters that we say are like you, ur great too, u just gotta improve, give us money and we'll help".

I'm nothing like Indiana Jones or Jessica Jo- actually I relate a lot to Jessica Jones, mostly the part about drinking as a coping mechanism and sleep aid. But while I may appear totally relaxed in social situations, I'm forcing it. I'm always terrified and on edge.
