the sunroom is a project space and private home in Cleveland Heights, Ohio. Video installation, custom faux-zen landscaping + scatter pillows, scripted self help and societal disassociation; yoga instruction on the countertops.

Let’s drive to the mall, on the way, discuss our big box allegiances. Seeing like a camera, we are so trained, even the landscape is arranged by the rule of thirds. Highway, barrier, sky. pavement, selected plants soften breeze block architecture at the mid point. like the photographic picture plane the facade is front view only, falling apart upon close looking, surface with the illusion of depth. Let’s drive to a yoga class. 1-2-1 fitness. Soft regards hard with envy.
