lavender: sun-kissed skin; messy hair; gardening; the friend who lets you rest your head on their shoulder; always grinning; never in their house; flower crowns; sips tea while watching the sunrise; frequent star gazer; quirky sense of style; always taking pictures; climbs trees; wide eyes; gets lost in the woods.

midsummer night: ripped blue jeans; bruised knuckles; crashing 7/11 at midnight with their friends; listens to music loud; hopeless romantic; falls asleep in the back of pickup trucks; conspiracy theory nerd; loud laughs; mischievous smirks; unplanned road trips; late night conversations; dances like no one’s watching.

I love how serious and quiet he can be, the way he looks at people and communicates with them. in life I’m more of an observer (?) and a listener than a storyteller, because I’m not good at telling stories. I often get confused in words and forget some of them. So I prefer pictures - it’s easier and harder at the same time. It’s easier because you don’t have to say it out loud. It’s harder because not everyone sees what you want to show. It’s harder because most people think that drawings are made for fun, not because of feelings or something.  It’s something about why I keep drawing the same person for several years (three years? four? idk actually). It may not be that much for others, but for me it’s a long time. I’ve never been in this way, but look, I’m here now and I keep going. And yeah, it’s easy and hard. At the same time.
