Back to Oak Tree Town || Open!

After spending a very long week with her parents over in Mineral Town, she decided it was about time to head home and check up on her animals (which were in good hands thankfully!).

Once stepping foot onto her farm land, the farmer ran off into the barn then the chicken coop to give both her cow and chicken some lovin’ before finally heading off into her house to see her fluffy friends. Everything seemed to be in order and all of the animals were healthy, but most of all they were happy! Thank goodness~

Now she just wanted to kick off her shoes and sit back to relax after the long carriage ride back… But this idea was quickly interrupted by a knocking sound at her door. “Hold on, I’m coming!”, she shouted while heading towards towards the door and bouncing on one foot since she was in the middle of taking off her shoes.

Soon enough she swung the door open and gave the familiar person a bright smile while speaking up in a chipper tone, "Hello? Oh! How are you? It’s been a long time, haha…"

Dear Diary~! (May 2nd)

Okay so I met up with Gray in Mineral Town and we had a really nice talk... He's also going to help me upgrade my tools, but I need to bring back some tools to go mining over there and that means some heavy work. I've never gone mining for ores before... So good luck to me, right?

I really feel like I can trust Gray. I'm so thankful he was there for me that first night I stepped into town... He gave me the courage I needed to face my parents and everything went over smoothly!

He instinctively reached up and scratched his cheek at her reaction, “I… um. Would you go… on… a lunch date…” He wasn’t able to even properly finish the sentence before his cheeks flushed, “‘m sorry.”

Minori almost mimicked the tall guy by putting her hand on her cheek, but she resisted mirroring him at this point. "Oh-- OH! I'm sorry--", she squeaked once realizing she was staring again,  "Go on a lunch date? With me? Um, oh my gosh..." So much has happened in one day and now she had a chance to go on an actual date... Now she was the one blushing. "S-Sure? But-- What's your name?"

Why couldn't he just admit it was a joke? This only angered her further since she felt he was going to do something mean to her like that one jerk from her past... "Of course! I've always dreamed of having a family~" she spoke in a happy tone even though her left eye was twitching. "I'm sure it's a great idea, just like this betrothal, I mean... It is the real deal, right?" For some reason this turned into a game of who will crack first and I will get him to tell the truth even if it kills me. "You wouldn't lie to me, right Fritz?"

"Minori! I have some news!" Fritz called. "I think we're betrothed!"

Minori turned her head just from hearing the familiar sound of Fritz’ voice, then she made a full turn as fast as lightning once his words finally kicked in. “W-What?! What do you mean?! Did my parents put you up to this?!”

"Pardon me..." He rather shyly approaches the smaller brunette, "I was wondering... could I ask you for a lunch date? You can say no."

Minori’s instinct was to look a person in the eye when she’s being spoken to, but when she turned around all she found was a large man’s upperbody. Holy cow, this guy is fricken tall! Her head tipped back just so she could see his face and she ended up staring at him with wide eyes for a short moment. “Oh my gosh— I mean— What???”

Something seemed fishy. First he thought they were betrothed and now he's sure of it? And because of a letter? This wouldn't be the first time someone tried to play a joke like this on her, so she decided to fight fire with fire. "Weeell, obviously we have to go shopping and prepare for having a baby, Fritz!" She made sure to sound like she was excited and hoped that he would tell the truth now that she had the upper hand.

"Minori! I have some news!" Fritz called. "I think we're betrothed!"

Minori turned her head just from hearing the familiar sound of Fritz’ voice, then she made a full turn as fast as lightning once his words finally kicked in. “W-What?! What do you mean?! Did my parents put you up to this?!”

Malik's smile helped her calm down enough for her to take a deep breath and relax. Fortunately for her, she met another nice guy this time around and this didn't seem to turn out anywhere near as badly as she thought it could. "Y-Yeah... I'm sorry for bothering you over this! Um... You can keep it if you want?" She gestured towards the paper before putting her hands on her hips. "I don't mind being friends either, if you want? Err.. Or would that be too weird?"

Minori thought over her dare several times before finally stepping up to the stranger. Her arms were crossed and she had a forced smile on her face that probably showed off how nervous she was at this very moment. "Um, hello, sir, I'm M-Minori... And I wanted to ask you if... Err... Are you single?" Not even a second went by before she scrambled to grab a pen and notepad from her pocket, then she wrote her number down as fast as lightning. "H-Here you go!" she spoke while handing the paper over.

"Have those strange glasses-sporting figures put you up to this?" Malik blinked, eyeing the paper in his hand before looking back to to the frightened girl with a small, sympathetic smile. "I’m sorry they are harassing you in such a manner."

"Minori! I have some news!" Fritz called. "I think we're betrothed!"

This guy seemed to be shy or something, which kind of made things easier since he didn't seem like a bad guy or anything. "I don't mind! It's always nice to make a new friend and you seem nice anyways... Nice to meet you Silver~! I'm Minori, hee-hee." She threw out her hand to do a formal handshake and smiled at him while she was at it. "By the way... Why are you wearing cat ears? J-Just curious!"

"I'm sorry about this. I was...dared to do it..uhm, are you...s-s-s-single?" Silver said, eventually getting the words out after much stuttering.

Minori turned towards the stranger and stared blankly for a long few seconds, the question didn’t exactly register properly in her mind since it seemed to be alien territory to her. “Who? Me?”, she squeaked suddenly while glancing left and right. “…Um, uh— Y..Yes I am. Why would someone dare you to ask something like that???”

Dia calmly approaches Minori, gazing intently at her before gently grabbing her wrists, "I am afraid I will have to put you under arrest. Your crime of being painfully beautiful will be dealt with thoroughly."

Unfortunately for both of them, Minori had her own dare and it was only going to make things more... tense. This wasn't easy for her since she was incredibly inexperienced in this department, to the point of staring silently and gulping nervously, but she knew she would eventually have to say something to this person. Too late-- Now she's arrested??? "A-Ahh... Um..." Wait a minute. Was this a pick up line? Now she was incredibly confused and even more embarrassed because of what she had to say next. "Are... Are you single? Erm... Because you're really... Pretty too." she squeaked the last two words before biting her lip. "...Or am I really being arrested???"

"You could just tell them off, you know?" The brunette sighed over the fact that it was just a lame dare. "It’s okay, shhh… No worries, I promise!" Another dare he had to fulfill? This was kind of cruel, poor kid. "Oooh... Your number, huh? Well we could be friends... If you want?"

"I'm sorry about this. I was...dared to do it..uhm, are you...s-s-s-single?" Silver said, eventually getting the words out after much stuttering.

Minori turned towards the stranger and stared blankly for a long few seconds, the question didn’t exactly register properly in her mind since it seemed to be alien territory to her. “Who? I quadruple dog dare you to go up to the next person who posts after this and grab them by their wrists then say the following words with your best poker face: "You're under arrest for being so damn fine!"... You must wait until they respond before revealing that you were dared to do this. ((( Make this an RP thread! )))

"And, finally! The moment we've all been waiting for! Your last, grand, amazing, spectacular question that I thought of (totally not off the top of my head right now)... What's your favorite dish at Rega's restaurant?"

Minori blushed at the thought of Rega's face, but she quickly flailed her arms around to shoo those thoughts away. It didn't take long for her to notice how crazy she must look, so she threw her arms behind her back and smiled innocently. "Uhhh... I don't think I could choose just one thing-- I love all of Rega's dishes! Err... Or maybe his pancakes are the best? Yeah, let's go with that."

"Okay, second question. Umm..." he thought for a moment, when suddenly an idea dawned on him "Oh, I know! What's your favorite thing to grow in the spring?"

"Moondrops or potatoes! Maybe Turnips instead? They do grow the fastest..."
