Illusions, delusions and things of that nature can have a real affect on how you view and respond to things in life. Your Mental Health can sway based on the type of emotions, feelings and thoughts you experience such as depression, loneliness or nihilism. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make healthy choices. Mental health is important at every stage of life, from childhood and adolescence through adulthood.

Culture
Crunch culture is when developers work overtime to finish work, normally in a small time window, to have as much work done as possible. It goes with saying crunch is somewhat effective when it comes to game developing however it's downsides tend to ought weight the results as works are left working longer hours for the same if not no pay so they can finish before hitting a probably absurd due date. This causes works to experience more tiredness, fatigue and suffer overall negative health effects both mental and physical.

Caving/spelunking is something some people do as sport and others do as jobs however it is recommended that people actually don't go caving as it can be extremely dangerous for everyone involved. Caving can be dangerous: you run the risk of hypothermia, rockfall, drowning, exhaustion, and bad air. ITCH.IO Page
I want the game's page to have a short summary of the game form start to finish. at the side I will showcase some sprites both still and animated. I would also like to take some time to create scenarios that would happen in the actual game and make rooms with the player on them as if it were actual screenshots from the game. Pixilart.com
Pixilart is the main website I use to make my sprites for projects and other personal art work for a while now. The platform provides many services such as letting you post non pixel art artwork, letting people make contests and having official ones every so often by with prizes than anyone can participate in, staff picks that have could lead to your artwork being presented as the picture of the day, daily challenges where a theme is picked for people to draw a bout, rooms where multiple people can draw together, a very active communities with smaller communities inside for different interest and content for everyone and much more.

When it comes to making art you're provided with many tools and features that help you with making artwork. One of my favorites would be the bucket tool letting you place patterns instead of a single color,

The animation process works by letting you make multiple frames that each individually can last between 25 and 5000 milliseconds. There are many tools and features that can help you with the animation process such as locking the frame panel to always be present and frames sequence which show you the frames ahead and behind the current one you interaction with. You can also press a button to play what the current animation would look like on loop.

When I make sprite sheets I put the contents in a grid and background I draw myself behind the actually assets that I then delete before exporting them. I can also chose to increase the size of the drawing many times over so it has better quality than what it normally would have instead.

Asset creation tools
When making pixel art I use the Pixilart website to make it. I have been using this app for nearly 4 years of my life where I would make and post my art publicly and privately.

While Photoshop was the recommend software for me to use I had some trouble with utilizing Photoshop properly with all the new options, keys and tools that I just couldn't remember and figured out I would just stick to Pixilart instead to facilitate making my work. Here is a sprite sheet and tile set for the project.

Updated story
Current
Lily has been raised by her grandparents for as long as she can remember. Her parents both weren't in the picture long enough for her to remember. After stumbling upon the case of her parents disappearance years of pent up confusion and emotions cause Lily to set out to find her parents whereabouts. She ventures deep underground where she will have the adventure of her life.
Old
Lily Falls down a well in her home village and finds herself in a mansion filled and surrounded by the supernaturality. A seemingly well meaning witch takes her in with a promise to help her leave this place however it seems things wont go the way she imagined at first.
The change of story was a result of random choices and more freeing options to try to make the story less outlandish but still whimsical. The first idea was that she would be inside some sort of magical crystal ball that had a small world inside it but I dint stick with the concept for long as I started thinking it was lame. I changed it to a magical cave as to be more fitting with the theme of crystals.

Lily
In the language of flowers, the Lily has long held the symbolic meaning of fertility, purity, and remembrance. They are a time-honored inclusion in memorial arrangements and are considered spiritually symbolic of the circle of life. Individual types of lily flowers and the respective colors of the petals may hold additional meanings.

A cool Idea I wanted to try is that instead of a health bar Lily Would Have a crystal like lily flower on screen that would shatter off based on how much health Lily has, alongside the actual number of HP. The lily could even begin to look wilted is her health is bellow half or a quarter.

I am still not sure if I would rather the witch's magical artifact to be a staff or a ring but essentially whichever one I pick there will be a gem with a seemingly liquid inside that changes the color based on the spell and power being used. For now I think the staff will go to the witch and Lily will either have a ring, bracelet or necklace.

These are some horrid sketches I made at around 2 AM in about 30 trying to picture different designs for the witch character. Witches normal wear hats but I also want the witch to wear some sort of scarf and maybe just a scarf instead. I would also like them to wear boots.

Game UI
I want my game UI to be simple and basic. What Ill need it. And anything else that comes to mind for a basic rpg game. There are a lot of was to present the UI in games. Normally for rpg games there is is a basic menu or just simple words and such. Same goes for the text boxes when characters talk in which I want the characters to have a little silhouette showing.

Asset packs
Asset packs are a collection of game assets bundled up together. This can range from art sprites, songs, SFX and such. Sprite packs contain the individual sprites for an area, a character or and item normally displayed all side by side as if on a grid.

I plan on creating an asset pack for my project where it displays some characters sprite sheets and tile sets for so areas of the game as well as some other stuff. Before that however I will need to look at designs to help me make my own.
