If you are going to make clotted cream cookie the villain of your narrative at least do it in character. Like imagine I take your favorite cookie and make them the villain of my narrative but I just turn them cartoonishly evil and it’s okay because I mentioned a few things in their backstory that has zero to do with his actions in the narrative. Like that’s how lazy some of their character research is. I’ll relate it to a Beast and ancient Cookie: It’s like when people make Burning Spice just an idiot, when he’s a little bit more complicated than that. Or when people just refer to dark Cacao that he’s a bad dad, when once again it’s more complicated than that… YOUR FAVE IS NOT IMMUNE FROM THE WOOBAFICATION BEAM!

Clotted Cream has the perk of being morally grey enough to where you can possibly see him doing something terrible if it meant that he can win the situation. If the narrative requires him to become similar to his father I can see that being interesting but ONG I hate getting into something and seeing my boy get massacred because you didn’t take the time to get a basic understanding of his actions or get over how “annoying” he is and not look at him just a little bit deeper for YOUR story feels uninspired tbh. And like I said it can be fun to turn people in to villains and it’s not a bad thing persé, just it’s so easy to lose a reader over that tiny thing like disregarding a character because you NEED a villain and this type of character fits the villain you’re going for. Idk it feels more satisfying if you made my fave a villain but I can see where you got that idea from?

This is probably something others have to deal with when it comes to their faves I’m sure, but Clotted Cream does hit different because he’s shown to be dealing with so much shit but we hate him because he’s … What? Obnoxious? Shut up dude, just say you didn’t finish cookie odyssey.
