Okay, so I’m alive. My drafts have been rotting away with long-dead plots, but I want to revive them, so these are the people I’m going to be replying to:

Bison was weary. Beads of sweat had formed on his forehead: his powers were never fond of being tied to a desk all day. He wasn’t even wearing the red visor cap that usually crowned his jet-black hair.

He looked up from his work with a slight delay after the Matador’s question. He had been swamped by pleas for mercy, aggressive negotiation from tradepartners and bids from those below him.

He sighed, running his hand through his hair. Bison couldn’t deny that he knew the importance of learning things. He had taken the young bullfighter under his wing, and thus his student’s question wasn’t met with the usual displeasure.

“You are referring to my Dolls. You think labrats suffice… but they are specialists, hand-picked by me personally. A dozen girls chosen from a global stock after careful planning.” He summed up.

“–They are destined to become the finest assassins under my guidance. Just as you were selected months before we even met.”

“Let me teach you something about coincidence, B o y. It does not exist within my realm. Everything here is planned, and executed according to my command.” 

❝ So you are to use them for your own selfish gain? What if your experiments don’t go as planned? They will die. ❞

It eat away at him, not due to any sense of caring, but simply because these girls, a scant handful of years younger than him, right on the cusp of their beauty, would be discarded before they ever bloomed. Such a waste. Such a sad, beautiful waste. Pretty girls only to meet their end by one so ugly.

❝ Already you have one that cannot meet your standards. Decapre, I believe your scientists call her? What if they all turn out that way? Will you simply stand by and watch your power eat away at them, one by one? Or will you simply have me kill them when they no longer live up to your ideals? ❞

He knows the answer to that already, of course, but he voices it anyways. Bison does nothing by halves, but whereas Vega came in such a low risk—was brought under the dictator’s wing with sufficient pay and whispered promises, the dolls had no choice in the matter. No choice but to simply to become brainwashed puppets to survive.

❝ Surely you can test on subjects less... palatable. The old, the ugly, the undeserving. Your choice of experimental subjects leave me questioning your sanity. ❞

Where the fuck have I been???

Going to try to be on here more. I’ve been kind of busy over on @warmastcr and @hamrcmmr while playing For Honor with the crew and then kind of went “Oh shit, right I have Vega...” My understanding is that the SF RP fandom is kind of dead right now, but I’m going to try to slowly clear out drafts and get this guy back to a good point.

ALL right; so in order to get me back in the groove of writing things again, you can find me over at my new muse—Dr. Samuel Hayden of Doom 2016—at @cybernetiiic​. He’s got a whole slew of compatible verses—from Street Fighter, to Mass Effect, to Overwatch, to Halo—so feel free to go and bother him over there. Hopefully, writing again will get the juices flowing on all my other blogs. :)

OKAY, I am going to try and get back into the swing of writing and get drafts completed here and on @seelenbrechxr over the next two weeks. So many things have happened in my life that writing wound up getting put on the back burner, the biggest of which being: I bought a house! Moving (again) is in my future, and hopefully I’ll be settled down for good.

Please like this post if I owe you something on either Vega or on Psycho Power. I’m still on the fence on bringing back Integra because it’s been a long time since I’ve been in the Hellsing fandom, but there are definitely pieces of fanfic I’d like to finish up before I close the chapter on the Hellsing head entirely.

| FOOL |

Karan blinks. That’s ambiguous enough, even if such a subtle movement is motivated by very genuine surprise. A lucky guess, maybe, or the claw isn’t the only sharp thing at the matador’s disposal. He reacts quick, for throwing him off the path necessitates a natural reply.

He rolls his head on his neck just slightly and draws a brow up. Then, a second of silence, just to sell feigned confusion further.

“ That’d be a pretty poor choice on my part, were it true. Shadaloo’s a dog pit, like you said, and on top of that I’m not confident that Psycho Power would be compatible with some pre-existing conditions of mine. ”

He shoots his hand from his pocket and waves at the matador with a glowing palm. 

“ I’m insulted you’d think I’d be so idiotic.” 

It takes one traitor to know another, and while Vega will not admit it because his pride will not allow him so, he and Karan are cut from the same cloth.  Though their methods may vary, and while Vega considered himself the more palatable of the two, it would be naught but a LIE if the thought of treachery had not crossed Vega’s mind more than once.

Perhaps, in his youth, there had been some sense of ATTACHMENT to Bison—but now, just barely pushing past thirty, Vega understands what garners appropriate responses to get his way.  And either Bison does not CARE or not deem him enough of a THREAT to truly do anything about it ( and Vega finds the dictator far too useful, at present, to truly cause a stir ).

❝ And you think Psycho Power is compatible with anything? ❞ The laugh is borderline disbelieving. ❝ Nothing can contain that kind of energy, and it does nothing but destroy the beautiful. You think you are the first of your kind here? No one joins Bison’s good side without seeking some benefit of some kind, and you seem the type to not be so content with your...current position. ❞

UGHHHHHH... I know I promised I’d get stuff done here, but I’ve been feeling so sick recently I just haven’t had the energy to sit down and draft things. Even my Vega-centric NaNoWriMo piece has been slow going. I’ve also got a freelance project I need to finish up by tonight and then I have an interview with a company based in Thailand (!!) I need to prepare for. I’ve just been so distracted lately. I promise I’ll get to things on here soon, I haven’t forgotten, just need everything to pan out, first!
