I truly need Max to invite Daniel to one of this GT3 things. Just to see if it will re-spark his love for racing. Also, I would die to have them be teammates again 🥰

You have noooo idea how badly I want this! I dream of it. I have a whole mind palace where Daniel has actually been testing incognito and we just don't know it because he's become a ghostly being who we only see like a Bigfoot sighting once in a blue moon. I was promised my Max/Daniel teammates era again, let me have it!

That being said, taking off my RPF/mind palace lens for a second, I do strongly suspect that Max has at least thought of Daniel in relation to endurance racing teammates. Yes, Max has mentioned others (including most recently at the Canadian GP, when he was pushed into naming people and there was a very sad comment from Max about being heavier :\) but I think Daniel must be in his head for it. We have ample evidence of what Max thinks of Daniel's abilities and even at Goodwood last year, he mentioned being teammates in a context that wasn't F1 (except it also was F1) and the sheer joyful delight of it all still sends me. It makes me wonder if there have been any conversations about it, or if there might be at some point, you know? Max said he wanted to do endurance racing with friends, and who is one of his closest friends but also a capable racer?

If there's any justice in the world I'll still get my Max/Daniel teammate era, even if they have to give it to me themselves :')

also it would be such a big fuck you to RBR especially seeing as how they sponsor verstappen.com, like hello pls I need this actually

sky sports acting as if the championship is unwinnable for max with a 39 point gap to p1, yet they were jerking themselves off last year over a lando norris championship run with a 60 point gap or whatever it was. yeah okay. we'll talk at the end of the season.

i've said this before and i will say it again: idc if daniel is a good person that bears no ill will - i am an asshole that will curse the descendants of those that wronged him. "oh but daniel would hate that a fan of hi-" shut up. i don't care. my hate and spite will continue to fuel me until all of those assholes are out of f1 and regretting every choice they ever made.
