not yet😔 the two main ones i’m working with are carnivora, which is primarily my own work, and underdogs: r3d, which is a collaborative spinoff of my friend @reptired���s original work called underdogs.

carnivora is The Furry One and underdogs: r3d is the Unwell Gay People One👍 there is some overlap in cast (and because i love the underdogs cast so much, some of them will also appear in carnivora! they just might look a little…. different…)

carnivora is an evo-bio driven fantasy and my love letter to early dragonball z powerscaling! the power mechanics are a backdrop for a corruption and conspiracy plot, as well as some larger-than-life solo antagonists. it deals a lot with human concepts of society and morality in regards to how we perceive and treat the other life around us. evolution, taxonomy, and genetics play a major role in the narrative as they’re sort of the fundamental operating system of the universe. it’s not particularly relationship focused, except for the odd family dynamics that tend to crop up.

underdogs: r3d is more of an interpersonal drama/thriller, set against a dystopian backdrop of extreme class inequity and criminal underworld goings on. it comprises all of the technically canon but not plot-relevant pieces that happen behind the scenes of underdogs proper. it’s a more grounded story with less suspension of disbelief required, for sure! dee is more adept at writing romance and complex relationship dynamics than i am, so if you’re looking for something less fantastical and more mature i think underdogs is more your speed.

i consider them both equally canon! the stories being told are very different and the character arcs that the cast undergo aren’t the same through the two timelines, but i think they’re both equally worth telling.

i do tag stuff with underdogs: r3d on my art blog, but i should go back and start tagging carnivora canon as well. safe to assume that if there’s furries involved, it’s related to the latter.

i think 2 comms a week is a good pace for me. i completed 2 last week and i have 2 slots for this week with time on thurs/fri/sun to chew thru them. have one on the books for next week and am holding another spot for someone who isn’t sure what they want yet👍 i think i’m going pretty fast all things considered :3
