The third year of study is about to begin. And I'm glad that I don't feel anxious or ill before the start of the year. I encountered this mental state from year to year in school and during college. When a week before September, you literally say goodbye to summer and are in a melancholic mood. Now I seem to have accepted that I love autumn much more than summer, I study where I wanted to, I try to be in the flow, despite some difficult external factors. I like the subjects that I chose for this module (I will try to tell you about this in the next post), I like my minor. I like my calmness.

I'm a proud owner of this chicken scrawl notebook. It depends so much on what pen you're using and all. I go for medium sized ball point pens but for ink, I prefer pilot v7 (it's got a very dark blue ink and it flows smoother than the v5). I mailed few docs to the exam cell and I hope it's received well in time. My priorities are really fucked atm. But thank god I've got Tumblr to vent it out. It's an easy life Id say and self induced lockdown has reduced my social capabilities.

Results for the pure sci exam I’d been preparing for came out a few days ago, and I am delighted with my rank! In other news, I have the last exam of entrance season coming up in about a week and a half, and after that I’m DONE! Well, done until uni begins, but hell if I’m not looking forward to the first studying-free holidays in nearly 3 years!

It is a gloomy day in August and I have come to accept that my love for Summer is unrequited. Holding out for a few more kisses from the Sun is irresponsible and reckless.

The months of living in the shadow are a stone throw away, so I light my candles and I make my warm drink. We prepare for the cold.

if a book has short chapters i’ll read it in one sitting even if it’s like 700 pages, but if it has long chapters i’ll struggle with it for weeks even if the book is relatively short, what does that say about me

› it's finally raining! went on a lil' roadtrip this morning, enjoyed the view from the window, got a tad soaked and had a coffee to go! being in a pub at 9 in the morning feels rather weird, but pleasant.
