Bakugou walked in his room, shut the door, and sat down on his bed. With his elbows on his knees, he put his face in his hands and fought the urge to cry. He’d never felt so hopeless before. He had all this power, but there was nothing he could do to save the girl he loved. His first instinct was to hunt her down and when he found her to never let go but, he wouldn’t even know where to start looking. It had been almost 12 hours since she disappeared they checked security cameras, they had Hound Dog search the entire campus, and everyone had been searching everywhere within a ten mile radius. The security cameras didn’t catch a single thing, Hound Dog couldn’t pick up her scent, and their search was unsuccessful. It’s as if she vanished into thin air. How could there be not a single trace of her anywhere? He snapped his head up as he heard a light fluttering sound. There was a piece of paper on his desk that had not been there before. He grabbed and saw y/n’s handwriting on it.

Dear Bakugou,

I’m so sorry for the way I left but it had to be done. I love you so much and I can’t stand the idea of anything bad happening to you, or any of our friends, because of me. My past has finally caught up to me and I wouldn’t be able to live with myself if I dragged you down with me, so this is goodbye. I don’t think I will be able to come back, even if I wanted to. Which believe me, I really do, but there is no way any of you would be safe if I did. You are going to be an amazing hero one day and I can’t wait to watch it happen. Please take care of yourself and don’t come looking for me because you won’t find me. You are one of the best things that has ever happened to me, my heart forever belongs to you.

After reading the letter Bakugou finally let himself cry.

so it’s been a while, but in my defense i have been going through it. i started college and my roommate is literally awful and i hate her so much, my grandma died, i barely have any friends but i am grateful for the ones i have made im homesick and that one mha manga leak that shit really got to me but im back now!

hi!! so my last post got a lot more attention than i thought it would, im glad you liked it. in this post i thought it was probably about time i got into the actual plot of this whole thing so yeah hope you liked it!!

when aizawa told y/n she was grounded she laughed and was like “you’re joking”

he was not

i like to think that she liked being grounded bc normal teenagers get grounded all the time so it was like another one of those things she got to experience

aizawa got a real kick out of it tho, he thought it was so fucking funny

he also likes spending time with her too so it was kinda like father daughter bonding

i also love the hc that bkg is such a goody two shoes, he never breaks the rules, never turns in assignments late

i can’t be the only one who think that bkg summer hero fit is slutty bc why he got his arms out??

sometimes i forget that aizawa is only like 30 so i tried to make him less stiff

jirou is really really sarcastic and since her and y/n are besties jirou will always find away to mess with y/n

i couldn’t decide if i wanted bkg to scream bloody murder on rollercoasters or sit there completely stoic so i went somewhere in the middle

i think tsu is also a little sarcastic too

y/n wasn’t fully awake yet when she made the decision to go the common room and kiss bkg (that’s what i meant when i kept saying downstairs but i couldn’t think of the name and im too lazy to change it)

she went downstairs in a large t shirt and no shorts

bkg was going to tell her to go back to her room and put some shorts on but she kissed him before he could

heyyyy 😬 so it’s been like a year i don’t really have like a good excuse time sure does fly haha i started writing this during quarantine and didn’t think anyone would like actually see so i didn’t put any tags on it or anything but people started liking it side note: i would like to formally apologize for the last 11 chapters i had like a mini brain aneurysm trying to read through all the cringe and you’re probably gonna read this post and hopefully be like wow this a completely different y/n it was not my intention in the beginning to make her seem like a whiny uwu bitch not that there’s anything wrong with that also i can’t promise that i’ll have a regular update schedule but now that i finally have free time i can probably pick this back up one thing i can promise is that i will never use “🥺” un-ironically ever again. you probably noticed that some of the other characters names changed as well that wasn’t like apart of the story i just didn’t like the contact names so i changed them im also not entirely set on bkg contact name so that might change too also i know in chapter 7 i said they were still first years but i changed my mind and they are second years now anyways i hope you enjoyed this :)

it’s honestly a miracle kiri convinced bakugou to go casual bc kiri un-ironically wears crocs and thinks they look good

the passcode to bakugou’s phone is 0000 bc people think he’s too smart to have that be the passcode but he doesn’t care enough to actually think of a passcode

bakugou won the bear from the game where you throw balls at the clown heads

unfortunately the operator thought it’d be funny to mess with him so on the last ball bkg launched that shit and broke the damn thing

also real quick most of the stuff about the date will be in the next chapter i put this out bc i thought it’d be a good transition, for me at least

“Okay, are you ready?” 

“I don’t know Mina, why me?” 

“Because! Just go” 

Sero slowly walked toward y/n, who was sitting on the couch. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Bakugou, who hadn’t noticed him yet.

He sat down next to her on the couch, and slowly put his arm around her. At the same time, Kaminari walked over to Bakugou and plopped down next to him. 

“Oh shit. Looks like Sero’s making a move.” 

Bakugou lazily looked up and saw Sero with his arm around y/n. 

“What the actual fuck.” 

“You’re the one who said you didn’t like her.” 

Bakugou was silent. Kaminari looked over at him in surprise, but that quickly faded. Bakugou was practically seething. Kaminari looked over to where Sero and y/n where, and he finally understood. They were laughing, and his arm was still around her shoulder. Poor Sero Kaminari thought.

Bakugou shot out his seat, straight for the two across the room. Kaminari’s panicked eyes shot to Mina’s, who were equally as panicked. They both chased after Bakugou, who was still determined to get to y/n and Sero.

Both y/n and Sero realized that he was coming at them. Sero tried to move out the way, but y/n grabbed his arm and glared at Bakugou. 

“What the hell do you think you’re doing?” 

“None of your business. Since I don’t mean anything to you.” 

“Quit being so fucking difficult.” 

“Oh, I’m being difficult?” 

y/n shot up off the couch, still glaring at Bakugou. 

“Yes, you are.” 

“Fine, then I’ll leave.” 

y/n spun around and headed to the elevator. 

“I’m not done talking to you.” 

“I wonder where I’ve heard that before. Oh right, when you kissed me and told me it didn’t mean anything!” 

“I’m sorry okay! Is that what you want to hear?” 

“Yeah, it is, but you’re about a week late!” 

“What do you want from me, women!” 

At this point, all of class 1A was watching their screaming match.

“I want you to at least act like you care!” 

“Will you go to the carnival with me?” 

The whole room went silent, everyone staring at the two in silence, waiting for y/n’s answer.

“You’re an insufferable piece of shit, you know that. But fine, it's a date.” 

After seeing Bakugou’s shocked expression y/n walking back to the elevator with a satisfied smile on her face.
