I really love that star wars like lets its heroes fail again and again like the entire point of ESB is that luke ultimately loses his arm to vader and has to escape and in AOTC obi-wan and anakin both lose their shit to dooku and ANOTHER ARM IS LOST and there’s just the entirety of ROTS i guess but. idk i just find something really compelling about the main characters of this franchise truly failing over and over and it doesn’t like, speak ill of their character? in ways a lot of other films ive seen. like if anything it makes me like them more. idk.
