Mod is a design style rooted in the modernist movement of the 1950's and 60's ("midcentury"). Mod means many different things to many different people. It's sleek, clean lines and dynamic design. It's bold colors. It's austere or psychedelic. It's a nod to the future, or to futures past. But most of all to me, Mod is about fun. It's about exploring, innovating, playing with design, color and function. Note: Some photos may be from the Web. All are assumed to be public domain.
