Finished 'femininity and domination' and i'm just gobsmacked. in a world full of propaganda about "reclaiming femininity", it feels like resistance to remember that femininity is not a harmless collection of traits and aesthetics but a politicized value system that demands the subordination of women. femininity not only demands women be subordinate but teaches them how to be subordinate and take pleasure in their subordination. and it makes power, real power, seem dull and abstract. it's an excellent mechanism for producing docile persons
this was something i intuitively understood at a young age and which was slowly eroded after a decade of "feminist" attempts to reclaim the value system that demands our subordination. gender was and still is about power

I love Russian Tomarry fics... I was pleasantly surprised that he is so popular among Russian fans!
As for Tyrtle, I saw no fic for that ship on Fichub the Russian fanfic site.
Not a shipper tbh but I did love Bookbinding due to the top notch writing.
Also there's a new fic which stars this pairing if your interested- Snake Your Way Into My Heart
First of all, thank you for sharing your opinions, and again thank you SO MUCH for the fic recommendation Anon. <3 This is unfortunately a rarepair and it's so hard to find fics about them. 😭
I used to read Tomarry works too it's true that Russians are pretty much dominating the fandom, and about the Tyrtle fic (also what a cute name for this ship, thanks for introducing me to it) yes there are no fics in Russian about them, but there is this one particular fanfiction i've read about them that had a Russian author - the fic was still in English tho, if it wasn't i don't know Russian lol.. i wish i did incase someone decided to write one because we know it would be peak.
(Oh and i've talked with the author, thats how i know they are Russian btw) i can tell you the fic if you want.
And yes! Bookbinding has such good writing im not surprised even the people who don't ship them got hooked haha 🤍

The Knights of Walpurgis

A group of students that were equally as brilliant, as they were grotesque.
Admirers of beauty, and destruction alike.
A group not formed out of a shared interest, but primarily out of shared hatred. Entitlement, the need for power, and the belief that they would reclaim their world.
Their presence lingered in halls, their laughter frightened those who already did not belong.
Their professors, unaware of the wickedness that was growing under their very roofs, were impressed by the boys alleged friendship. To them, the boys reflected everything a group should represent; loyalty, dedication, and respect—but directed towards what? Surely not what they had hoped for.
Soon, the knight emerged from within the castle, but not for goodness, but everything they deemed as wicked.

Girly Self-Care Tips for Girls
Work out every day. Get ripped.
Quit wearing makeup, and ESPECIALLY quit wearing full coverage makeup. It's terrible for your skin.
Don't shave your bush. All it does is increase risk of vaginal infections and give you razor burn + ingrown hairs.
Eat healthier and eat more iron. In the United States, 40% of women are iron deficient.
Fix your sleep schedule.
Take your vitamins.
Learn about your own anatomy.
Learn to self-advocate. It's hard to do, but it will help you massively if you can accomplish it.
Stop dating men. Go 4B.
Stop having sex with men. They are disease vectors.
Ditch coffee, drink green tea. Green tea improves cognitive function and heart health.
You don't need any fancy skincare products. Unless you have an actual skin condition, the only thing you need to put on your face is sunscreen, face-safe soap, and water.
Go outside more. Spend time in nature, or just stand outside in your garden or driveway.
Don't get cosmetic surgery or fillers. By doing so you're just putting yourself in danger for the sake of beauty standards.
Learn everything you can possibly learn.
