i love how i haven’t been on frank properly in a month+ but i still gotta talk about him cos i love him still and cos frank’s NEED to put skulls on EVERYTHING is like a dog taking a piss on smth to lay claim on it. like, shit, in that omega run frank hopped on a glider and superior spiderman was like ‘how do you know that’s yours’ and frank’s just ‘it’s got a fucking skull on it....... and military grade rockets but mostly the skull’

FRANK. ❜ it, being, the purring mess of fur currently sniffing at the cuff of his jacket before it’s head turns and bumps into his waiting hand. he’s no cat person ( stay out of this, selina ), but there’s a microscopic portion of him that’s got a soft spot for these critters. frank, the human, not the cat for fuck’s sake nigel, obliges and gives it a scratch down it’s spine.

I RAN OVER HERE BECAUSE FUCKING LOOK A TTHIS. frank’s fucking TRUST in nigel. of course he’s always on edge but the minute frank gets his answer, he doesn’t even question it and takes it for what it’s worth BECAUSE!! IT’S NIGEL. and then frank’s fucking petty offended look for the fact that his bff QUIT being the punisher ?? because no one quits that. no one can just put down those guns and pick up whatever life they had or make a new one. no one can. but then he’s probably also offended because theres so few people that frank trusts. anyone who has TRIED to pick up the punisher mantle went too far and brought frank’s wrath. nigel found a good median. he was good. frank saw him as a good ally and now they can’t do what bffs do and skip off into the sunset and shoot up some crack house or rising mafioso

at her prod, there’s a little resistance before a slow, easy smile finds its way out. encouraging her is the last thing he should be doing, and he’s very sure the last person who laid a hand on him ended up losing it, but selina’s prone to a lot of free passes, isn’t she ?? smile still in place, his thumb beating a cadence into the railing, the way he looks at her is as if he’s indulging the erratic antics of a child. ❛ that’s asking a lot from me. ❜ it isn’t, but in a way, it is. curiosity will eventually win out, though. they BOTH know this. 

              turning more towards her ( and away from the pop of gunfire and the hollers of madmen ), he reaches up to grab her wrist — but makes no move to tug it away. ❛ if it’s a welcome party, count me out. ❜

        “Y’know, sometimes, you really make me wonder.”  and, with that, she jabs her very dainty pointer finger right into his chest, as if her five-foot-seven figure has the right amount of strength to put him in his place.  (  you ask her, she absolutely could.  )

after all, tonight’s not about his little war. it won’t be. she just happens to live in hell’s rancid armpit and, for some reason, she has no motivation to leave. oh, she knows what she’s doing, but even she can take a break from all this when she needs to.

so, with her finger right in his chest —–     “But you are not gonna go anywhere tonight, Mister. Let the hyenas do their job.”  she pauses, brows knitting together ever-so-tightly, before her features relax, allowing her youthful glow to shine right through :  “Besides !  I didn’t plan a little special surprise for nothing, now, did I ? ”
