Back in the 1800's and before then women would get married and start a family at 15.

Someone at the store wished me a happy Mother's day.

Oh. Married at 18? Why would anyone get married at 18?

That's kind of how I feel with my grandmother. She keeps trying to make her way back into my life and I want nothing to do with her.

 I guess I can go hide at the studio but I shouldn’t have to hide in the first place.

Because I'm 26 and she thinks I should have been married 8 years ago and have 2 or 3 children by now.

That blows my point out of the water then. Why does she do that?

Go to someone else's house? Hide somewhere else until she leaves.

I try and go about my day as normal as possible on this specific holiday but how am I supposed to do that when my mom calls and says she is driving in? Fuck my life.

This woman knows me, and she knows I've never been pregnant, but she wishes me a happy Mother's day every single year.

My eyes get so red. It's the worst time of the year.

Allergy season just makes my eyes itch….It’s actually kind of funny because I walk around looking like I’m on drugs or really tired all of the time.

1. What is your full name?

My name is Madison Dawn Turner.

2. Where and when were you born?

I was born in Tree Hill, North Carolina on May 14th.

3. Who are/were your parents? (Know their names, occupations, personalities, etc.)

My biological parents were Piper and Thomas Turner. They were killed when I was about twelve years old. My adoptive parents are Marley and Kitty Wilde. Marley is a teacher. She's the sweetest, most caring person I know. Kitty is a (insert occupation here). She's tough, but it's for the best.

4. Do you have any siblings?  What are/were they like?

I never had biological siblings. My adoptive siblings are Kristopher, Charlotte, Austin, and Dylan. They're all quirky in their own ways. I'm not as close to them as I wish I could be.

5. Where do you live now, and with whom?  Describe the place and the person/people.

I live in a one bedroom apartment with my kitten, Arabella. I do live down the hall from one of my best friends, Chuck Adams.

6. What is your occupation?

I work as a student teacher.

I'm about 5'4", weigh about 123 lbs, have ice blue eyes, and naturally blonde hair. I have been known to dye my hair either brown or red from time to time. I don't have any scars, but I do have two tattoos. I have a small lady bug on the inside of my right wrist, and a Sanskrit inscription on the outside of my right ankle. In Hindi it's pronounced "Abhay," and it means 'Brave.'

8. To which social class do you belong?

I would definitely say middle to upper class.

9. Do you have any allergies, diseases, or other physical weaknesses?

Back in early high school I was anorexic. I've since overcome my disease, and I've become a much stronger person because of it.

10. Are you right- or left-handed?

I am a righty.

11. What does your voice sound like?

My voice can get pretty high, and most of the time it's very up-beat sounding.

12. What words and/or phrases do you use very frequently?

I definitely say 'like' a lot without even realizing it.

13. What do you have in your pockets?

Normally my cell phone, a pen, some money, and a lip gloss.

14. Do you have any quirks, strange mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics?

I tap my fingers against whatever I can when I'm nervous, or in an odd situation.

I've flat out said to her I don't want to talk to her anymore. I've told her to leave me alone. After I change my number, if she still somehow gets in touch with me, I'm going to the police.

It's the thought that counts. I don't know what she wants, and frankly I don't care what she wants.

No no. It's fine. My parents died when I was twelve, and none of my "family" on my mother and my father's side would take me in, so I was put up for adoption. Now one of my grandmother's keeps calling me and I want nothing to do with her.
