The first dumping of snow ❄️☃️
The snow came early and hard this particular winter season in Sweden, and what a way to experience my first snow! After a dinner with my housemates, we went out and had a good ol’ snow fight to burn off all that sourdough bread we devoured.

Bunch of touristy selfies and pics from Mama’s phone
Classy close-up pictures of our faces in front of national attractions. Had amazing Moroccan food in Le Tagine in Paris, failed to get a funny pic at the Eiffel, had so much fun listening to bops in the Abba Museum, Mama seeing the impressive KTH library, and Mama tryna survive one of the coldest days in the Nordic winter (she was a trooper!).

Partie trois 🇫🇷
The Sacre Cœur and its insane view of the city, mid-century French architecture, and the Tour de Eiffel.

Moin, Hamburg! 🇩🇪
Second stop of the leg: Hamburg, Germany! Hamburg is known as a fishing port town, and so the center of the hustle-and-bustle is by the sea. I went to a Miniature Museum which was so incredible detailed, and I visited the Christmas Night Market in the St. Pauli neighborhood (quite a different Christmas market compared to other cities).
The next day, I visited the Fish Market but sadly the place is only open on Sundays in the wee hours of the morning, but I still had the most scrumptuous herring sandwich in a diner across the market.

Købnhvn 🇩🇰
The first day of my Interrail journey going down south to meet Mama in Paris. First stop: Copenhagen, Denmark. This was about a 6-hour train ride from Stockholm. Went to the iconic colorful houses in New Haven, visited the micro-nation Christiania, and then went to the Design Museum. A lovely time but the Danish Krona is whack! 🫣💸

The land of bikes, trams, and fun times 🇳🇱
Amsterdam was so fun and I went on this trip with a few of my housemates from Täby. It felt surreal being in the country I’ve revered for so long.

Kumu
Art Museum of Estonia, probably the best art museum I’ve been to because the exterior of the place itself was just as breathtaking.

This pub had an odd name
The actual name of the pub escapes me, but I’m just very sure it had an odd name. We went out with one of our hostelmates, Amelia, and had a grand time exploring Tallinn on a bussin’ Monday night lol.

The Russian Embassy
Surreal feeling seeing all this passing by. Estonia was part of the USSR only until the 90′s so the Russian culture, language, and influence is still very present in the country.

Architecture and art like no other
One of the things that stood out the most to me was the odd combination of Soviet structures and super new and modern buildings that are scattered across the city. Their grungy approach to art is also nothing like I’ve ever seen

A Farmer’s Market of sorts full of art and food that serves almost like a cultural center with vintage shops on the second floor.
