Hats off
Enough Goncharov. I want to see more discussion of revolutionary 1928 film The Dancing Cavalier starring Don Lockwood and Lina Lamont (and the uncredited voice of Katherine Selden)

So great! I love that ep.
if you're wondering if you should watch pyramids of mars, please do, it's a good serial. but most importantly it includes this moment:

Me too.
Everything Everywhere All at Once really said that parents would love to be able to blame all the things they don't understand about their children on some sort of tangible enemy that they could fight and defeat but that enemy doesn't exist and all they're fighting are their children's different forms of self-expression which causes them to hurt their children in the process and their children to lash out and hurt them. And despite all that, despite how much it hurts both parties, both still love each other and want to be understood by each other.
That for a parent to be there for their child, they have to be willing to understand them and not fight them.
I'm simply in awe of this movie.

Unskippable cut scenes.....
Deeply fucked up that this game (real life) forces you to play a crafting mini-game (cooking) every time you want to replenish your stamina bar.
You can skip the crafting game by using a pre-made consumable if you have them on hand, but high level players will constantly nag you about it and tell you that it damages your character's stats in the long run.

The Dot was kinda real though tbh If I had to sit around listening to racist whingey white rich kids all day, I'd develop sentience and made beasties to eat them Eat the rich!! \o/

Literally any show can be improved by adding more older women. Not many know this, but it’s true.

I absolutely agree! All the end-of-the-universe stories get redundant and, to me, boring. With the small stakes stories ANYTHING can happen.
I really want to tell the Doctor Who showrunners that an episode doesn't need to have "stakes higher than ever before" to be good. In fact I'd argue that the best episodes affect only like 5 people. No destruction of a whole planet/galaxy/universe necessary

#screamingScot #bagpipes!
bagpipes are a very very fundamentally misunderstood instrument. They’re not meant to be subtle. They’re meant to be loud. They’re a weapon of war, a call to arms, a wall of sound that hits you shortly before the wall of screaming Scot does.
