When you dont accomodate disabilities in your classrooms, in your schools, in the place where we teach kids that they can be whatever they want, work to get a job they want.
Youre saying so much about what you think school systems are made for.
School is very often where kids decide what they want to be. What they want to do and how they wanna live as a person in this world and in society.
And when we deny help and accomoddations for disabled people we are telling them, disabled kids and teens especially, that education and dreams jobs are only meant for the abled bodied, and that why would they deserve a place in society, because without accomoddations, they dont even get a place in a classroom
And that is unacceptable.

Find clothes that make you look beautiful and feel good and ignore ANYONE who says things like that to you. They are not worth your time or consideration. To chane the narritive we must be ourselves and protect our friends People are not objects and women are not sex toys. I will give any two bit jerk this speech time and time again. My clothes are not my soul but an extention of my creativity and comfort.

This is so accurate it hurts. Or, maybe, its the stab wound xD
my bf has many interesting stories and observations from his new job as a 911 operator
my favorite is how meandering people are, even in the midst of a terrible emergency
they respond to “what is the emergency” with “well, the thing is, four weeks ago–”
and then he’s like “WHAT IS THE EMERGENCY RIGHT NOW”
and they’re like “so what happened this morning was, i said to my wife, i said–”
“WHAT IS CURRENTLY HAPPENING AT THIS MOMENT”
“oh i’m having a heart attack”
my second favorite is how specific he has to get sometimes
like, “what is your emergency?”
“i’m sitting in a pool of blood.”
“… is it… your blood?”
“yes i think so”
“do you know where it’s coming from?”
“probably the stab wound”
“have you been stabbed?”
“oh yah definitely”

BASELINE #4 THE HOUSES
The houses. The dwelling of your very existence. These 12 little mathematical slivers of pure goodness are your compass, letting you know were all the support and opportunities are for you to grow into your best motherfucking self. Here’s your quick and easy guide:
HOUSES 1 - 3 INDIVIDUAL FUNCTION
FIRST HOUSE (1): Your inspiration for being alive. Why are you even here in the first place? The most subjective space in your life, what you and only you feel to be true about you.
SECOND HOUSE (2): The shit that you pull from your particular time in history, your culture, your social circle and/or your family - from resources to values to beliefs. #2 talkin bout how you harness the momentum of the past in the present.
THIRD HOUSE (3): The place where you make connections, compare contrast this and that, make sense of your surroundings. You’re exploring the shit around you. So you can discover what is you (this) and what is not you (that). Not personal, just facts.
HOUSES 4 - 6 CREATIVE POWER
FOURTH HOUSE (4): Self-security. Shows how you root deep down and anchor that little identity you just formed in houses 1-3. Here, you can feel connected to everyone because you feel safe and secure in yourself, your feelings and your awareness of others as selves.
FIFTH HOUSE (5): Self-expression. Now that you’re rooted as shit get out there and express yourself! #5 shows you acting like you. Playin with your presentation. Who and how you wanna be?
SIXTH HOUSE (6): Self-improvement. Now that you’re expressed as shit, hold up and reflect on it. What is even the point of being you? What are you trying to make happen? This is the space where you’re pushing for something better, bigger, realer than you’ve had before.
HOUSES 7 - 9 HUMAN COMMONALITY
SEVENTH HOUSE (7): How you participate in anything outside yourself. Yes, anything, everything - every relationship, from pets to partners. How do you approach the world?
EIGHTH HOUSE (8): How you share on the deepest level. This is more than participation, this is the bare your soul type shit. #8 letting you know how you form real relationships and what happens when you do - grade A victim or grade A responsible for your own choices?
NINTH HOUSE (9): This is your mindset, your life philosophy. How you manage all your seemingly random life experiences into one complete whole makin sense out of things idea. A way of thinking that’s so legit it might be useful for everyone to apply it, not just you.
HOUSES 10 - 12 GROUP SOLUTIONS
TENTH HOUSE (10): #10 holding your public identity. How you present yourself, how you strive to achieve through accepting responsibility and being accountable for what you put out in the world. This is how you structure your own life to make life better for everyone around you.
ELEVENTH HOUSE (11): The area of your life where you’re straight up rockin that social brilliance. Planning a better future for the world, finding the true homies to build that better world - living on the cutting edge of being a real true free individual for everyone’s sake.
TWELFTH HOUSE (12): The junk drawer of your life. All those experiences you have that don’t really fit into the other eleven areas - how you dive deep into your own unconscious in order to make it conscious. So you can become the most awake, most self-aware human being in all the land.
Live your best life, little Astrology bitches.

21- Strega Nona

21- Strega Nona (1975)
Taking a mental health break from hyper-analysis to offer this pasta witch.
Strega Nona is the titular character behind the children’s book of the same name written by Tomie dePaola. The story is about an old witch who is renowned in her village for her remedies and matchmaking abilities. She hires a young helper named Big Anthony to assist her in her work as she is getting too old to work alone. One day, Strega Nona is cooking a magic pasta. Big Anthony doesn’t pay close enough attention, however, and while he sees Strega Nona singing a magic spell to produce the pasta, he misses the necessary spellcraft required to stop the production. The result is that macaroni noodles flood the entire town as the spell gets carried away. Strega Nona gives Anthony a fork saying “the punishment must fit the crime,” and makes him eat all of the pasta. The two characters, Strega Nona and Big Anthony, have appeared in nearly a dozen additional books by dePaola, however the first is the most well known, winning several awards for children’s picture books.
The moral of the story? Pay Attention. I love any time a witch, especially an older one, is shown in a positive light in a children’s tale. Even in a children’s book, the story conveys the wisdom and magic associated with witches, and goes so far as making Strega Nona a moral compass. She’s happy, kind, and well respected around town, the latter aspect greatly differentiating her from other witches in this series. While her personality is the inverse of the traditional witch, her physical appearance, as that of an old, frumpy, squat, and big nosed woman does fit the standard image. She’s shown with a cauldron (pasta pot) and various animal familiars surrounding her. Similar to the Witch from Room on a Broom (#75), La Befana (#68), and even Eglantine Price (#97), Strega Nona joins the ranks of positive witches geared towards and beloved by children.
