But I didn't. ❞ Her initial intention to use her matter-of-factly tone fails, for her chest is not yet done heaving. She leans on her staff and avoids pointing out how well a simple spell served the four of them.

Dunno how it'd work, never died before. ❞ Her impression of his flat but deep voice fails, but she feels her point has landed. She offers him a smile.
