Have those who are Israeli or support Israel no conscience today with the IPC famine declaration in Gaza, backed by the United Nations?
"JUST IN: 🇺🇳🇵🇸 Famine officially declared in Gaza by United Nations-backed IPC."
This announcement comes late… They had no idea how much we suffered, how hungry my four children were, how they cried out just for a piece of bread.
Have they no conscience that my infant Amir was denied baby formula and had to search only for a piece of bread…
How many nights did they sleep with tears from hunger, and how many times did we lie to them to ease the pain, telling them: “Drink water, it will ease your hunger…”
Do the complacent and Israel supporters not know how desperately we called for help, hoping our children wouldn’t die from hunger or suffer malnutrition? If it weren’t for the brave and generous people who helped us, responding to their humanity, my children would not have survived the hunger and starvation in Gaza.
Does the world not feel any responsibility leaving children to starve on the same planet where people feed their own children? Do they not remember that while feeding their children, others have died of hunger because the world ignored what was happening to us?
We are still enduring the harshest days of our lives, along with our children, and we continue to seek help from the generous and humane among you, those who moved with compassion to support us. This is a campaign to everyone who wants to stand with the four children included in today’s famine declaration.

I feel like one aspect of Viktor that often gets overlooked is his relationship with movement. Especially in post-canon explorations, where his leg and spine pain have vastly improved, Jayce is almost always framed as the “athletic” one, while Viktor is imagined as the one who would rather lounge and read. And as always: you’re free to picture them however you like. This is just me sharing my perspective on what canon might suggest.
From my very first watch of the show, what stood out to me was how elegant Viktor’s movements are. The animators did a wonderful job of making everything he does feel deliberate - partly, I think, because his disability forces him to move with care, but also because that thoughtfulness is simply part of who he is.
The first glimpse we get of what Viktor would be like if he were fully able-bodied is his run at the docks. That scene made me cry the first time I saw it, and it still does. You can see him pouring his whole heart into every step — this is Viktor being free, if only for a fleeting moment.
The other, and most telling, example is during the council room fight, when Viktor moves through one of his dolls. It’s less a fight and more like a choreographed dance. And because it’s literally his mind guiding the doll, we see his own natural sense of grace, creativity, and — dare I say — sensuality, when unrestrained.
That’s why I think: if there is a post-finale Viktor who lives with less pain, then once he makes it past all the gestures vaguely trauma, he would absolutely revel in his freedom to move. Maybe he goes for runs, maybe for swims, or maybe he just dances around the kitchen in their cottage. It’s hard to picture fully, because we only ever got glimpses of a Viktor without pain — but I’m convinced that within him lives someone who genuinely loves to move.

Why did you learn Finnish?
To communicate with my parents and extended family. At age 1 I started to feel a bit hungry and decided I should start speaking so that my parents would feed me.
Hope this helps!

Once I stopped trying to be friends with people who just weren’t immersed in queer culture, my life got so much better.
Stop accepting people who make you feel like you need to explain, make up for, or excuse your identity. You don’t need to be or do shit to appease non queer people, and trying to do so drains all the life out of you.
Queer culture means everything to me, and I don’t want to be friends with someone who can’t even understand what a transmasc lesbian is.

James: My stomach has been feeling off lately.
Sirius: Maybe you’re pregnant.
James: Nah, I can’t be pregnant. Regulus and I always use protection.

Sheet - Jegulus - @into-the-jeggyverse - Word count: 564
James was dying.
He was sitting in Sirius’ living room, desperately trying to listen to Sirius tell him all about his weekend away with Remus, but he was too busy trying to ignore the noises coming from Regulus’ bedroom.
James and Regulus had been flirting for weeks now, but James couldn't work out if it was just flirting to Regulus, or if he did have feelings too.
It often felt like he did, but James could never be sure. Regulus was so guarded still.
James had been hooked on Regulus from the moment he stumbled through Sirius’ front door a year ago, seeking sanctuary.
Sirius hadn't seen his brother in five years and had been more than happy to not only give him a place to live, but to help him find work, introduce him to all his friends and help him extricate himself from the hold his parents had on him.
It had been a big year and James had been there as much as he could to help. What he hadn't counted on was falling in love with the younger Black.
And right now, at this exact point in time, Regulus was in his room grunting and groaning and James was fighting the urge to run into said bedroom and see how many of those noises he could get Regulus to make.
“Oi, James,” Sirius’ voice cut through the voices in James’ head. “Are you even listening to me?”
“Shit, yeah, sorry, Pads.” James shook his head. “What were you sa-” James was suddenly cut off.
“ARGH!!!! WHY WON'T YOU FIT IN YOU BASTARD!”
Regulus’ shout reverberated around the small flat and both James and Sirius looked shocked.
Regulus appeared in the living room, face flushed, hair messed and clothes disheveled.
James felt his whole body go rigid and his own cheeks flush. He discretely slid one of the sofa cushions into his lap.
“You okay Reg?” Sirius asked, looking a little concerned.
“I just can't get the damn thing to fit and I think it's just not meant to. So, I give up!” Regulus threw his arms in the air as he collapsed on the sofa next to James.
“Errr, wha-” James coughed. “What is it? Maybe I could help.”
ABORT! ABORT! James’ brain was screaming at him, but his southerly brain was doing all the thinking.
“Really?” Regulus and Sirius asked at the same time.
Regulus looked excited and James didn't care what Sirius was thinking.
“Hell yeah.” James eagerly volunteered.
“That would be great!”
Regulus was on his feet and heading back to his bedroom. James got up and started following him.
“Subtle, Prongs.” Sirius mumbled through his smirk, James flipped him off and carried on following Regulus.
As James walked into Regulus’ room, he wondered if this was really happening and his heart gave a little jump.
“Here!” Regulus thrust something into James’ hands.
James looked down and was momentarily confused.
“Err,” James eloquently said.
“If you can get the pillows into the new cases and then help me with the new sheet, I will be forever in your debt.”
“Yeah, course.” James said, trying to think of anything he could to get rid of his boner and also not look too disappointed.
“Thank you!” Regulus gushed. “Then, maybe you can help me mess them up after.”
Regulus threw a wink at James and James’ brain switched off.
