“Oh my god, am I going crazy? What the f-,” her rambling was cut off when she came across her cell phone, stashed away in the cabinet. She cocked her head to the side, examining the scene before her. How she’d ended up shoving her phone in between two boxes of cereal the night before, or rather earlier that morning, escaped her. Glancing over at the other person in the room, she quirked an eyebrow. “Why didn’t you stop me last night? I feel like that Thomas the Train is running over my brain.” The brunette grabbed her phone and ran over to plop on the couch, jumping over the back of it. “Bad idea,” she clutched her stomach. “Still too hungover for that. How do you look so normal?”

[ ZOEY DEUTCH, FEMALE, SHE/HER ] — If you’re strolling Derry today, you might see [ MAGGIE OWENS ] along the way! The [ TWENTY TWO ] year old can usually be found at [ THE DERRY TOWN HOUSE INN ], when they aren’t busy with [ COOKING or SINGING ]. I hear they seem to be [ HAPPY and OUTGOING ], but they are also rumored to be [ PESSIMISTIC and NERVOUS ].
Name: Maggie Owens Nicknames/Alias: Mag, Mags, Maggot  Face Claim: Zoey Deutch  Age: Twenty-two  Gender: Female  Sexuality: Bisexual  Date/Place of Birth: August 21, 1997, Portland, Maine. Currently: Derry, Maine.  Occupation: Front desk at The Derry Town House Inn.
☆ Maggie was born to Jacob and Emily Owens, a mid-twenties couple who had just gotten married a year before after being together since teenagers. Maggie got her name from her grandmother on her mom’s side, but instead of naming her Margaret like her grandma, her parents chose to just name her Maggie to make it more modern. Being she was such a rambunctious child, her parents chose to keep her an only child, which she was actually okay with growing up. She never felt like she was alone or bored and she had plenty of friends to make up for it.
☆ Growing up, Maggie didn’t understand that her parents relationship had taken a turn for the worse because they’d kept that part of their lives from her. When she was ten, they couldn’t hide it anymore and they told her they were getting a divorce, which blew apart her world for awhile. It took her a long time before she could understand that that meant that her parents wouldn’t be living together anymore and that she’d have to go back and forth. Luckily, her parents were civil with each other after the divorce which meant that birthdays and holidays were still a family affair.
☆ When she was fifteen, her father started dating someone new, someone younger than him - a girl who had a daughter of her own who was only a few years younger than Maggie. Instead of being surly about it, Maggie actually enjoyed her dad’s new girlfriend and while her and her mom would make comments about the age difference, it really didn’t bother her too much. When they announced they were getting married, Maggie was thrilled to have a sister who was more of a friend than a sibling. The only thing that threw things off a bit was that her dad and his new wife decided to move to his wife’s town of Derry, because she worked there.
☆ Maggie’s mom was still a single mother with a job that could barely help support herself, let alone her daughter, so her dad offered to let Maggie stay with him so that her mom wouldn’t have to work herself to death. It was an adjustment, living with just one parent instead of the back and forth she was used to, but she still got to see her mom every weekend and she didn’t mind the town of Derry.
☆ Maggie’s always been a dreamer. Since she was little, she spent all of her time with her head in the clouds. Sure, she comes across as a little ditzy but her imagination is something that makes her a lot of fun. She’s not afraid of new adventures and often seeks them out, willing to do just about anything and everything. There’s probably nothing that she hasn’t tried at this point, minus hard drugs.
☆ When Mags isn’t at work at the Inn, she can be found around town at the mall or local shops, dancing her nights away at different bars, and riding her bike around for exercise. She loves meeting new people and up for new opportunities.
☆ Being a late bloomer, Maggie didn’t pay much attention to the opposite sex for a long time, she just thought she wasn’t ready to date anyone yet, but when she moved to Derry, it was then that she realized that while she wasn’t ready to date, she also wasn’t just interested in men only. When she started bringing girls around at home, she was terrified that her parents would be mad at her for being different, but they were only accepting of her sexual identity.
☆ It’s hard for Maggie to stay in one place, do only one thing, at a time, so some might view her as some sort of flake, but she’s definitely the friend you can call at 2 am for help and she’ll drop anything that she’s doing to help you, even if she forgets to answer every text message you send her. She’s an extreme lover at heart and a total goofball. But at the same time, while Maggie wants the best for everyone, she can be a little pessimistic, which strikes people as odd. She tries her best to be optimistic, but she can’t help but think some things will just go wrong.
