Kaltenecker & Kosmo

some thoughts about the space pets:

Keith and Lance both love their pets and prefer to take care of them themselves.

and Hunk, really, really doesn’t like taking care of Kaltenecker.

but on their way back to Earth, Lance knew he couldn’t take Kaltenecker himself (Red probably didn’t have enough room), so he trusted Keith to take care of Kaltenecker for him.

Keith obviously didn’t have to listen to Lance, i mean, Hunk didn’t listen to Keith when Keith tried to give HIM Kaltenecker.

but Keith DID listen to everything Lance said, as much as he wanted to keep Kosmo in Black with him.

Keith ended up taking Kaltenecker and sacrificing Kosmo. Plus, he ended up with Coran, who he also didn’t want to travel with.

basically, this boy really can’t say no to Lance. he let Lance decide who went in what lion regardless of what he wanted himself. what a goner.

Let’s face it

Keith and Lance are both stupid when it comes to each other

Okay, let’s do one by one. Let’s start with what I want to discuss and then we come back to Keith and Lance again. I have nothing against the two! They are my little boys, but we all have to admit that they are stupid when it comes to each other. That’s just how it is. What I want to talk about There is the relationship between the two. Not even romantic, so that too, but actually about the whole package. As the two just go wrong and I pray that they will talk in season 8.

The relationship between the two has improved a long way. The arc of the two is based on communication and action with people, and also with oneself. Both guys had to go through a lot to find a place in the universe and understand that they are not alone. And both help each other with it. Not only are Lance and Keith limited to the others in the team, they are dealing with the whole universe. It doesn’t matter if you are ship the to or not, the fact is that both have and always will have a special bond. Both have a great responsibility and have evolved. Just not to each other. Both boys try not to get too close to each other because they are both afraid that the other one doesn’t want it, even though both obviously want it. But there are differences in the way they do it. Lance tries to cover up with other people and not get in touch with this, while Keith moves away and tries not to get lost in Lance. My God, the two have problems..

Lance: Lance is actually more complicated than Keith. Lance tries it in different ways. Lance tries to avoid the situation and at the same time he tries to reach Keith. Lance feels insecure. He thinks Keith doesn’t notice him as much as he really does and that’s the problem. Lance tries to get closer to Keith, but when Keith takes a step, Lance retires because he’s scared. I’m sure he was scared, because Keith has left him and the team before, he wants to prevent it from happening again. Everything Lance does or says when it comes to Keith has been questioned at least three times before he really says it. That’s why it seems so slow and that’s why it was so sure what he said at the game show. At that time I thought that it sounded fast, as if he had already thought about it. Nevertheless, Lance stays short to not make anything strange. And then there’s the thing with Allura. I will address that but another time correctly. Now I just say that he would be the one who would use Allura as a replacement. Allura literally played Keith and all the parallels speak for themselves. It’s practically a slip from A to B, but as I said, we’ll talk about it another time.

Keith: Keith is easier because it’s more obvious. So, Keith is a person who pushes people away before they can hurt him and that’s just fitting. I already explained why Keith is so cold, but I’ll do it again shortly. He pushes Lance away because he thinks Allura and Lance have something, so he takes a lot of distance. He doesn’t want to get hurt when Allura and Lance come together. And also because Lance doesn’t treat him as properly as a friend, but more like a leader. That’s why Keith is easier to read because we know his pattern when it comes to people he loves. Keith is a very distant person, he doesn’t try to build a deep bond so fast, but he did that with Lance. He’s also scared, he’s afraid Lance would leave him if he showed his feelings.

What is the solution to they communication problems?: Talk! The two have to talk and eliminate all uncertainties and misunderstandings, and when they have done that, they will have a wonderful friendship. Maybe even a romance. And even if not, we’ll most likely see them talking in Season 8, or fighting. In any case, they will do everything right. I believe in that!

The two will have important moments in Season 8! I know it! ~ Jenni❤
