About the fast

Things I love about fasting:

Losing all of the food weight,

Feeling of cold drinks on empty stomach,

Having a point, a goal,

It gives me a meaning,

It gives me validation,

I feel prettier and lighter,

The number on a scale going down,

Being close to fainting, I love that feeling so much,

Things I don’t like about fasting:

Nausea,

Breaking the fast (I can’t control myself and I just eat 1000cal in one sitting and my stomach hurts because of that),

Being cold (that one is bittersweet. Kind of love it, kind of hate it),

Can’t focus on literally anything,

Lying,

It’s really amazing what realizing I was a lesbian did to my confidence. When I thought I had to marry a man and have a life with him, I felt ugly because I am in a heterosexual world. My shoulders are too wide, I’m too fat, I’m too hairy, for them. But when I realized I was a lesbian I stopped giving a shit about those things because I knew I could still be attractive to some women. My broad shoulders suddenly went from my least favorite thing about myself to one of my favorites. It’s just amazing to me, I love being a lesbian.

When I was younger I used to say “You’re not really best friends unless people think you’re gay for each other.” I used to PRIDE myself on having these deep, intimate connections with other girls I was close too. I thought I was sooo funny. Turns out I’m gay and I do want those deep intimate connections with a girl. Funny how those things turn out.
