Elara Luminita Dalca Black was born in Romania to her mother, Ioana Dalca and her father, Sirius Black on March 15th, 1980. Ioana met Sirius after moving to London after graduating from Durmstrang, wanting to help the resistance. She met Sirius and they started working together and they started to form a flirtation and eventually had a fling. When she found out she was pregnant, she also heard about the prophecy and panicked, she left without warning and had Elara in her home country. Elara was raised with vampires in her family. Her grandfather is a vampire and her mother is a dhampir-witch, making Elara a quarter-vampire.

They taught her ways of the world and how to make harsh decisions. Her mother sent her to Hogwarts, wanting her to have the life that her father had had and not the ominous one she’d experienced at Durmstrang. Like her father, she was sorted into Gryffindor and went to Romania on holidays. Elara really only shows her true self around her loved ones and those she trusts. Due to her parentage and species she has to be careful how she acts around who, at least that’s what her family has told her to do. Her true self is kind, fiercely loyal, would risk everything for those she loves and does what is in their best interest. She has more Hufflepuff and Slytherin nature, but her mother told her that she has to be in Gryffindor, and she was.

Solaris Hekari is a 2nd year dragon rider from Tyrrendor. Her parents were in the Tyrish apostasy and were executed along with the rest of the adults that participated by order of the King of Navarre. Like the rest of the children of the rebellion leaders, she bears the mark and was set to enlist in the Rider's Quadrant upon turning 20. Knowing this, she became a sponge. She did as much as she could to survive Parapet and her first year of Basgiath. Bonding with Racht in her first Threshing, she quickly became a great rider.

Solaris can be distant and hesitant to trust non-marked riders. Because of the scrutiny that she faced post-apostasy from adults and children alike, she is quick to flock to her own who understand what she goes through.
