"What do you want, Potter?" Draco asks, feeling the other's beautiful green eyes on him. They were in public, so he acted like he hated him.

"That's not what I meant, Hermione. I meant everyone in Gryffindor and Slytherin. Sure, there are a few good Slytherins, but I don't get why most of the both of our houses just forget the stereotypes. And I'm not going to adopt the ideologies of the students that give Slytherin house a bad name." Harry looks at her, knowing that he talked a little bit too fast.

"I honestly don't get it. Just because we're in two different houses doesn't mean we can't be friends." Harry says, sitting across from Hermione in the train compartment. He's exhausted, but he hides it from her as best as he can. (Slytherin Harry)

Hermione pursed her lips when the boy spoke and shook her head. “I never said anything of the sort, we can certainly still be friends. It would only become more of a problem if you were to start adopting the ideologies of the others in your house.”

Draco stayed silent for a minute, trying to gain his composure. Once he was calmed down, he turned to face the girl. "I'm Draco Malfoy. It's nice to meet you, Hermione. I'm sorry I was rude on the train." He held his hand out for her to shake, he hopes she'll take it.

Draco looks down the floor as soon as he was sorted into Gryffindor, how will he go home? Will his parents still want him? He gulped and nervously sat next to Hermione, not exactly sure of what to do. The blond sighs and starts to as soon as Harry was sorted into Gryffindor as well.

Hermione looked over at the blonde student that had taken a seat near her, she had remembered his face when she had been looking for Neville’s toad but he had quickly dismissed her. Now he seemed utterly distraught, had he wanted to be in another house? “Hello, I’m Hermione Granger, I met you on the train when I was looking for Neville’s toad.”
