Hello! I'm not sure how to start this message, I've been a ghost reader for a few years now-- horrible, I know. Silence is a comfort when it's all you're used to, and comfort is what keeps the unknown away. Bad for me, since it kept away the unknown joys of expressing adoration for your writing. I visit this blog from time to time, passing through it's street, wondering if the light will turn on some day. Whether it will, or not, it will still be a home, a shelter, a refuge from the world (1/?)

-And I want to say thank you. Take your time. A vacation away from this place for your mind. Writing is supposed to be a selfish thing, and I want to thank you so much that you made the choice to share a bit of your worlds with us when there is a different reality where it would've been stored in your head instead, safe from the world, from expectations. Announcement

Hello everyone,

I’ve greatly neglected this place. Cobwebs have grown, amongst other molds, and I hate it. This blog used to be a place of refugee for me. I come back every now and then to dust off the countertops, but I never stay long enough to leave my footprints in the dust. The veils over the chairs always go back up. 

To be upfront, and non-simileic like I usually am, I don’t know if I want to write or continue to write.

Keeping curt, my personal life has been busy and chaotic. I’ve had many things in the past year--few years really in particular, that have been continuously taxing on my being, and slowly I’ve begun to pull away from writing. I’m very particular about how I write, and what I choose to represent out, and the quality that I’ve recently produced was not up to par, but I wrote. I wrote because I wanted to, for myself, but I couldn’t keep doing it. I just--didn’t enjoy it. 

Personally, what once was a fun hobby now became a chore. I couldn’t-can’t follow through a story when I have no motivation. I’m not ashamed, I just needed and need time for myself to figure out--me. Death, my mother’s cancer now in recovery, a failed job, failed relationship, and a thousand more times forced to begin and crusades have visited me and I’ve had no choice to house them. I’m not saying I have hatred, or resentment, or fear, its more of--life has happened. Life is happening. But I’m tired. Mentally and physically. 

I just don’t have the space in my head to finish off stories that I dearly love at the moment. Not when all I want to do is rest. I wish to tell you how the Opal Eye of the White Fang ends, how Jimin in Show Me Your Teeth got his scars, and that epilogue to Fireflies...but I just...can’t right now.

This is something I should have done a while ago, I’m letting you know I’m going on a hiatus--indefinitely. You can still send me messages, ask, or whatever else. I have not abandoned this blog, I’m still here, I just don’t know when I’ll be back to writing.

So, even though I may not always be here actively posting or whatnot, but this place can still be your home. Please feel free to put your feet up. Come and stay awhile to read and forget the outside world. This is still your place, and you’ll always be welcomed. And I want to assure you, I’m fine. I’m really okay. That’s a promise.

Hello!!! I’m doing well, thank you for checking in with me~~~🥰

There’s been signfiicant changes in my life recently, majorly being that I finally graduated from my undergrauate, majoring in Biology. I’m still on my pursuing in the medical field so I’ve been busy with my internship at one hospital, and working with the vaccine clinic and manging position at another. As well, I just got “hired” at an office where a doctor is willing to train me to become an MA and challange me to be certified, so I can work for her :) I’m starting that soon. 

That amongst other things that have been happening in my life-- its been a real rollercoaster.

Like the butterflies, your heart fluttered when you were with him, but he always called you a child and treated you often as such. Unceremoniously the wooden screen door slid open, rattling gently as you peered inside inconspicuously. You had heard shouts, even from within the Flower Inn, and felt the tickling need to check it out. Within the living room, the man lying, who had been making a hideous face in the light of pain, startled as he caught you suppressing a laugh. “HEY! Who are yo-ugh!” Grunting at the pain you giggled harder at his inability to complete his thoughts. “Brat, don’t laugh!” He finished that shout with a yowl as the needle pricked him deeper. You covered your mouth suffocating another chuckle.

Ironically the appearance of the customer was exactly as you predicted. He was burly, older, scared from civil battle, maybe not from the capital because of the slight tone in his scream. Human men were always the type to wail like a woman in labor while getting tattooed.

The tougher they are on the outside the weaker their inner heart is.

Holding her in his arms he wept until a sea of his tears pooled around them. The soil was tainted in sorrow. He watched as her eyes from the outside in, like white frost covering the window, slowly turned opal. She reached up, mouth agape as she gasped for air. She cupped his cheek catching his tears as they rolled over her knuckles. The opal bleeds and engulfed her black pupils and with her last strangled breath, her back arched. His breath came in ragged, and shallow before he was wailing out, sobbing as he brought her chest to his forehead.

He couldn’t hear it, her heart was silent.

It was icy cold as her spirit lifted from her body, white and translucent. She lifted until she hovered above the soil to a stand. “My love,” her disembodied voice spoke to him as he wept into her being. Lifting his head he saw her spirit smile down at him. The glimpse of brown that once was her eyes was completely white. She caressed his cheek gently one last time, “I will always love you.”

It was his mistake, he swore to never look, he swore to the goddess he would never look.

She stepped into the moonlight and her light absorbed into the moonlight. She was gone. His mate was gone.
