I feel like the other post is all over the place.
So, just to be clear, I absolutely blame him and think he is a fucking rat for leaving his boyhood club.
My finals are over 😭🙏🏻 I'm so done.
Anyway, I wanted to talk about the whole TAA thing.
He said he could be a one club man. He had his own mural. The fucking corner taken quickly 😒 , that was against my team and even I can recognize how it cemented him in Liverpool's history. He has a scouse accent for fucks sake. "I'm just a kid form Liverpool living his dream" or whatever.
Came out with a whole tear stained video about leaving. Like you chose this, no? "I've been in this club for 20 years." You telling us? You broke into the first team from the academy. Great. Having said that, explain to me why you are leaving with fake fucking crocodile tears.
He ran down his contract in his prime to move there for free. He willingly and knowingly gave up on the 66 number he had since the academy. He came out on that podium and spoke fluent Spanish. He really said "It wasn't matter of where to move, but if I would move to Madrid or not." They posted a picture of him staring at the UCL trophy from 2022. You were there, what is there to see? And if you are not convinced that Madrid is soulless, just know that they gave him number 12. For context, most clubs have it retired or vacant because the fans are the twelfth player. And it says just Trent, not Alexander-Arnold like the Liverpool one. Took the personality out of it... 😒
The interviews were even worse, to be fair. "If I were to leave, it would be for Madrid.", "My first Madrid memory is Gareth Bale joining. And Christiano Ronaldo, the best player in the world.", "I left to join a young team and to compete for titles" (Guess who between Liverpool and Madrid won their respective legue this year) "I grew up watching them getting three ucls in a row" Also, grew up? You were there, mf. Worst of all for me was "Unos dos tres Hala Madrid" but that's just me. Also, the smug grin when they played the corner taken quickly part of his welcome video... I get it you're happy and proud of it, but you should know that there will probably not be any moments like that anymore.
Now I obviously don't know him to be sure about this but it looks like that fuck ass club took his soul, because he has already contradicted himself. First of all, he has always said Messi is the goat. If you go to his Twitter account, he has a couple of posts on Messi and none on Ronaldo. Also, he has tweeted @ barca players, bantering his supposed dream club. "My favorite club outside of Liverpool is Barcelona because I feel like they have similar values." Your words, certainly not mine. And if we are being real, he would not be the first Madrid player this has happened to...
After all these, Perez really came out and shamelessly said "Madrid is different because our players are Madridistas" straight up lying to themselves. 😭 And to quote my mum "Who lost their shame so they could find it" It makes sence in Greek I promise 🤧🤧

Beautiful day to be la liga champions 🥹💙❤️
Great league match as always, but I'm not gonna offer my unsolicited opinion this time.
Lamine Yamal, the kid that you are. Very well deserved mvp, in my opinion 🤷🏻‍♀️ Goal and assist against the Catalunya rivals. Both were ridiculous, btw. He had two shots on target and 0.2xG. Scoring that, is simply ridiculous. He won us the league today.
Fermin securing our lead in the 96th minute and basically insuring the legue, after being robbed of that immaculate goal against Mardrid, is nothing short of poetic justice. In my heart, he has scored in both of Barcas big derbies against our biggest rivals. The hate in his heart really inspires me as a fellow athlete. I love him 😭
Cubarsi coming on really made me feel safer. His clearance/block/interception/intervention in the 88th minute was so clean and gorgeous. I can truly see him wearing the armband in a few years.
I'm really happy to see Balde back. And he looked like he never left, honestly. Sprinting up and down the whole field, creating chances and generally being a threat. We love to have him healthy and back.
I missed Ferran today. Appendicitis really gets all of my favorite athletes. Alex, Carlos and now the shark? 😭 But Ferran's timing was notably worse. He will be missed in the celebrations 😔

What is there to say about yesterday.
Immaculate performances. Useless hatrick. Not even gonna mention the ridiculous calls.
In my heart, Fermin scored on his birthday.
Ryan's goal was beautiful. Also, why he was completely unmarked, I'll never understand.
You kinda feel bad for Mbappe after a while, you know. They got a two goal head start. He scored a hatrick. And now they are seven points behind in the league. Also, witnessing a remontada like this when your club would not shut up about theirs for an entire week just to get embarrassed in front of home fans. I feel for the turtle, honestly.
Rapha's misses were something... for sure. And he got motm on top of that. And he went, "I don't deserve it. I didn't play well. Give it to Pedri." And then Pedri said no. Friendship fc is my club 🤧🤧

Feel the need to add that I missed Balde Kounde and Lewa in the game, but without downplaying the performances, Martin Eric and Ferran clocked. I just missed them 😕
Also, seeing all of them crying really got me in my feels. But Rapha, Pedri and Fermin I could not handle 😞
Thuram picking up Lamine is very respectable as well. And the greatness recognizes greatness post made me actully like him and mind you i don't watch the serie A so i don't know him at all. On the other hand, Bastoni celebrating with his shirt was... distasteful.

I'm not recovered by any means from yesterday.
There's not much to say, really. I am extremely proud of this team for coming all this way. Just remember that at the beginning of the season, we were expected to go trophyless between the new manager and lack of signings. So, a domestic Treble, hopefully, is not half bad.
They all played their hearts out and left everything they had on the pitch. They breathe and bleed blaugrana, the academy kids even more so, obviously. They will come back stronger, healthier, more mature in their play and even closer as a team next year, we know it. Most of them have promised it through social media too.
Also, the women's team battered Chelsea 8-2 on aggregate to advance to the uwcl final, so there is still a final to await. And we have Madrid to embarrasse in the coming classico. There's things to look forward to.
As a culer always remember "Gotta have heart to have heartbreak" 💙💔

Today's match felt like a fever dream.
No Raphinha, no Frenkie, no Cubarsi, no Kounde. Balde and Lewa out injured. 🙏🏻🕯not for long🕯🙏🏻
Ansu Fati and Hector Fort starters(?). On a lighter note, Ferran and Eric Garcia starters(?).
Pau Victor got minutes as a sub? ANSU FATI GOT MINUTES AS A STARTER?
Mallorca played a block so low that there were defenders behind the goalkeeper. Also, at least seven men in the box at all times is not a tactic 😭 The first half ended 0-0. We had 23 to 0 shots. 😐
Lamine's miss was something... These plays are the reason why Pedri doesn't have a bajillion assists. That pass was absolute class. He threaded through that ridiculous 10 man defense and found him, and he just shot straight at the keeper. He literally could not have made it any easier. Best dribbler in the world and worst shot taker apparently 😭
Olmo goal was great. Pedri was great as always. I liked Pau Víctor and Fermin. I miss Fati already.

He fucking got it. He got a fucking Laureus award. You don't understand how actually insane that is. These are the Oscar's of sports. And he got one and he's fucking 17.
Tumblr media
To get the Laureus breakthrough of the year had to "beat", using this word very lightly, the 5 other nominees.
1. Alfred Julien
She won the gold medal at the 2024 Summer Olympics in the 100 metres event, setting a new national record of 10.72s in the final. Her medal was the first-ever Olympic medal for Saint Lucia. She then won a silver in the 200 metres.
2. Bayern 04 Leverkusen men's football team
In 2023–24, Alonso's first full season in charge, Leverkusen achieved significant domestic and European milestones, bolstered by effective squad building and strategic signings. By early 2024, they had set a new club record for the longest unbeaten start to a season followed by breaking the Bundesliga record for the longest unbeaten run by a club in all competitions with 26 games unbeaten, followed by breaking the European record of the European "top 5 leagues" with 44 compulsory games unbeaten. On 14 April 2024, Leverkusen were crowned Bundesliga champions for the first time ever after beating Werder Bremen 5–0. On 9 May 2024, Leverkusen set a new record for the longest run of matches without a loss in European football history (since the introduction of UEFA club competitions) following a 2–2 draw against Roma in the Europa League; they broke the previous record of 48, Leverkusen then finished the league season unbeaten, the first club in the Bundesliga history to do so.
3. Summer McIntosh
Summer Ann McIntosh (born August 18, 2006) is a Canadian competitive swimmer. She is a three-time Olympic champion. Noted for her strength in medley and butterfly events, she is the world record holder in the 400 metre individual medley, and also holds the Olympic and textile records in the 200 metre butterfly event, and the Olympic record in the 200 metre individual medley. In the short course pool, she is a four-time World Swimming Championships gold medallist and holds world records in the 400 metre freestyle, 200 metre butterfly, and 400 metre individual medley events.
4. Letsile Tebogo
He won the gold medal at the 2024 Summer Olympics in the 200 metres event, with his win earning the first-ever Olympic gold medal for Botswana.
5. Victor Wembanyama
Victor Wembanyama, French , nicknamed "Wemby" and "The Alien", is a French professional basketball player for the San Antonio Spurs of the NBA. Considered one of the best basketball prospects of his generation, he was selected first overall by the Spurs in the 2023 NBA draft. In his rookie season, he managed to get in the NBA All-Rookie first and All-Defensive first team. He also won the rookie of the year award and was blocks leader of the league. In the summer Olympics, he also won with the French basketball team the silver medal.

4-3 bearly scraped past Celta Vigo...
Still first in Laliga thankfully
But I have decided to only focus on the positives today...
Ferran beautiful individual goal and couple chances were created as a starter, might I add. He is getting over the super sub thing and just balling out.
Raphinha is back. He had like 2 bad matches, but still. Today, he bagged 3 g/a. I don't think I have to say more. That's my fucking Ballond'or candidate. When my team scores 4 goals, he has 2 of them and is involved in a 3rd one. Also, sofascore gave him a 10?
Frenkie balled out as well. 113 touches, 98% (102/104) successful passes, 100% (6/6) successful long balls , 100% (2/2) ground duels won, 2 tackles, 2 interceptions. Phenomenal game. Genuinely don't understand why people want him gone. Him and Pedri are a cheat code in the midfield.
Pedri immaculate as always. He has spoiled us with such performances. This is not normal.
My "theory" that Barcelona's performances are also heavily influenced by Lamine was proven correct again. He was out in the first half, and I don't wanna talk about it. He got subbed in at 59' and got an assist at 68'. (Olmo too, but this isn't about him)
Olmo had a great game too involed in a goal quite quickly and also won the pen.
I am always happy to see Fermín, Gavi and Pau Víctor getting minutes.

Genuinely, what is score 90 on?
Barcelona is having their best season in the last decade and it's an objectively great one, so I can't be mad at the top 3 but Lewa at 6 is a fucking crime. He is Laliga's top scorer and ucl's 3rd highest goal scorer. And he could finish second because Guirassy and BVB have been eliminated. Get that man up there. Also I love that Pedri is finally getting the recognition he deserves.
Salah Ballond'or shouts need to be stopped, too. He is putting up historic numbers in the Premier league, sure. But he did not show up for his team in the Ucl. He scored 3 goals in the league phase, and one of them was a pen. He ghosted on the round of 16, resulting in PSG trampling all over Liverpool. He was nowhere to be seen in the Carabao cup final. I am sorry, but in the Ballond'or conversation insane stats in the domestic league are just not enough.
Rice, I think, got so high up due to recency bias. I think he will fall lower eventually, but if he keeps performing like that, I am not mad at it.
Dembele and Vitinha are playing for a PSG that is going for a Treble. So I understand it. Still PSG has stripped their football down to the basics so they are working individually but as a team, its hard to explain leave me alone. So really anyone other than Donaruma would be understandable. I also would like to see where Doue ranks according to score 90.
The same goes for Barella and Lautaro. Inter is going for the Treble and they are essential in the formation so I get it.

Ucl semi-finals predictions that no one asked for 😝
Barcelona vs Inter Milan
Inter has already made a mistake. An Inter legend has gone to the Internet and said that Bayern was a bigger threat than Barca is. Now, if Lamine sees this... Jokes aside, Inter has a crazy tight defense, and Lautaro scores quite consistently, but I still have Barcelona going through.
PSG vs Arsenal
Considering they way they both performed in their second legs, Arsenal looks like they could just ride the wave past PSG. And PSG... Demebele looks like he needs someone to score 7 against to recover from Aston Villa (he got motm btw). I got PSG, tho because I think their individual flair can give them the edge over Arsenal. But still, with Saka back and Rice living up to his price tag, I wouldn't be surprised if it's the other way around. Still got PSG, tho.

I was sick as fuck but now im recovered and ready to give my unsolicited opinion on the ucl.
I got 3/4 of my predictions correct 😌 and honestly I don't even mind because Madrid is out.
I am gonna sound like a hate right now, but I am, so it's fine. Arsenal was the better team in both legs. They absolutely deserved to go through. Battered Mardrid in their own backyard. Winning in the Bernabeu is so difficult that even Madrid can't do it. Belt to ass type spanking. Historic hatewatch. Also, they went on the whole remontada gimmick for a whole week. Madrid media, the fan pages, even the players. Jude had a whole ass interview just to drop a 6.0 at best. Vini reminded us what time he was gonna get his ass beat so we don't miss it. Rodrygo had his poor father praying outside the stadium at 4 am. They closed the stadiums roof for fucks sake. They forgot that rice cooks better with a lid on. Not to mention that Spanish interviewer who didn't even ask Artera a question, he just told him to be ready. And I'm not even gonna lie, I expected to witness the robbery of the fucking century. But Arsenal just outclassed them so clearly. Also, Madrid escaping with no reds is just outrageous. Rudiger was stomping on a child on the ground, Jude had numerous yellow worthy clashes where he tried provoking Rice. And what the fuck was injured Carvajal doing with Saka at halftime?
I did not watch Aston Villa vs PSG, but I'm not here to talk about the match. A couple of things that happen just completely outshined this almost comeback. First of all, what do you mean the PSG bus had all of its tires stolen? Yeah, it's Birmingham, but come on lads. They were still probably faster than a Ferrari pit stop, tho. Secondly, how do you even manage to get the Europa league anthem playing instead of the Champions League one? The PSG players are also clearly not pr trained because those were the most honest to God reactions I have ever seen. They are growing on me, and I don't like it 😖 Also semi relevant, what does man united do to their fucking players? Because that man out there was not Rashford, and I saw several people on Twitter saying that if he had not been subbed off, maybe they could have qualified. Also semi relevant, Demebele's new mentality fucking scares me because that man got motm and still was angry cause they lost. Yeah that how it should be but as a Barca fun that's not the fucking Dembele my club signed.
Barca was terrible. I don't even wanna talk about it. It's becoming increasingly clear just how essential both Balde and Pedri are to Barca. Just hope Balde gets well soon. Also, Lamine has kept this weird stat going. Every time he performs badly, Barca performs badly. It's not something you can see in numbers, but it has been true for all our bad games this season. So what I'm getting at is that he, too, is extremely important to the way the team operates. All in all, I'm just glad we got through. If we were bound to lose a game at some point, I'm happy it's this one.
I also didn't watch Inter vs Bayern. And i don't really follow Serie A or Bundesliga that closely, so... Got the prediction right, and that's about it 🤷🏻‍♀️

Completely unrelated "vent"
This account is just turning into a football blog, but I swear i have other interests.
It is just that I used to pirate all my anime and series in general, but now i can't. Because Greece decided that pirating is the county's biggest problem and passed something that connects the equivalent of our social security number directly to our IP so we are fined for consuming pirated material. So now I basically have no access to any movie or TV / anime series because I am not paying for a bajillion subscriptions.

ANSU FATI SUB
Don't even know what to say. Saw him in the squad list and just glossed over him cause Flick had not given him a chance. UNTILL NOW. Feeling like a proud mother. Our original starboy 🥹 Also, he did look like he still has the skill obviously and the fire in him too. I'm praying he gets more minutes and I'm an atheist 🙏🏻
He got subbed for Lamine too (thank you, lamine, for faking injury so he can get minutes 😭). The torch was passed down the other way.
And to quote a tweet somewhere in my timeline : You know we are so clear when an Ansu Fati sub is bigger news than a 4-0 win.
