Thank you so much for considering to support me this way, it means a lot to me ♡ As for the og Fujiwara, I'm unfortunately not planning on doing any digital artbook, as the Remake will be more accurate than the og. But the good news is that the Remake artbook will be more complete and have some extras compared to if the og artbook was a thing ~ Short stories, side characters backgrounds (in addition to the main ones), sketches and little bonuses. It might take some time to be made, but please keep looking forward to it (^ w^)/✦

It's not a weird question at all, in the contrary it makes me really happy that you are wondering about it ~ I'm planning on releasing paid digital artbooks for future games (I'm still not sure about the price, I'll need to take a better look at it). So far I'm planning on doing a digital artbook for Fujiwara:REmake and Fujiwara 2 when the games will be released/not too long after their release, and possibly one for the childhood arc too. After that, I'm either planning on working on a longer game of "The Witch and her assistant" or two mature nsfw otome games and release digital artbooks for them as well (^ w^)/ Thank you again for your ask and don't hesitate if ever you have more questions, I'll gladly answer them ♡

Heyyy soo.. I can't seem to access the final version of the demo somehow? The name of the file is still "CoF Final Demo Windows," the itch page says it was updated 13 days ago, and the kickstarter says I should be able to play up until the early adult stage for the maid path.. but I can't get past the first choice option in the teen phase for both paths. Am I doing something wrong?

Hello ~ The early adult phase for the maid path is for Kickstarters backers only, while the version on itch is public with less progress in the story. Sorry if it was unclear in the itch update (> o <) If you are a KS backer though, you should have received a notification and/or a mail either on your KS page or in your e-mailbox with the extended demo version ✿ Don't hesitate to ask if ever you have more questions ✦

hey there!!! i loved fujiwara so much and can’t wait to see what comes next for it!! i wanted to as about aya if thats okay!!

when i first played, my understanding of aya was that she was meant to be like a player stand in, just not a blank slate (which is something i’ve seen in other games i’ve enjoyed before), but when i found your tumblr i remember seeing you mention somewhere that aya is less of a player stand in and more like her own character/an oc now

i just wanted to what your thoughts on players having their own versions of aya? like, an aya with a different design, name, personality and/or backstory? or even an aya that stays mostly the same with little design tweaks to fit what that player wants to envision for the story?

i guess the best way to describe it is a canon divergent aya?

Hello hello ~ You aren't the first person to ask me this question and I've thought long about it, but in the end it felt a bit "off" for me to be able to have a customizable MC, at least for the current Fujiwara (and the remake in progress as well) since I wrote the whole story with my own OCs in mind. BUT ! I actually plan to let the players customize Akane for Fujiwara 2, though it will just be her hair style and clothing since she, too, has her own personality and back story in current Fujiwara. And as for future non-Fujiwara projects, I planning to entirely let the players customize there MCs appearence. I also want the player to have the choices of body shapes, but...it might be a bit complicated with my still not so strong coding skills when it comes to representing the custmizations during CGs. I thought of an alternative for that and it would be to not show the player's on the CGs when it comes to it...I'll try to find the best solutions with the competences I will have at the time ✦ Until then, I'll try my best to learn new skills and who knows, maybe someday customization won't be as complicated as it is for me right now and will be able to deliver more options for the players ~ Thank you for asking me ! Hello hello everyone !

Woah it's been a while that I haven't wrote anything there, since I generally use tumblr rather than twitter for longer posts. So, yup…today is one of those days where I need to share a wall of text xD

As some of you surely already know, I attempted to dev Fujiwara:REmake with RPGmaker because of the aspect of walking around and the system of shop/items which was really appealing to me. This was two of the main reasons I switched from Ren'Py to RPGmaker and it was very fun and fullfilling at first as I learned a good amount of new things, but…unfortunately, the more I worked on it, the more I started to struggle and get frustrated with things that my current skills can't cover.

I thought of going on hiatus for the time I'd learn a bunch of advanced features to make the game visually more enjoyable, but I realized it would take an awfully long time to do so until I can present something decent and in sync with what I have in mind. I'm sure most of you don't want to wait who knows more time for this project to be released. So it's a bit reluctantly and disappointed that I decided to go back to Ren'Py, as I'm more familiar with it and that it would also means I'll work faster. I'm really sincerely sorry for all of you who were excited to play a RPGmaker version of Fujiwara (you'll still be able to interact with your surrounding though !), but I really need to go back on a more visual novel type of game for the sake of the project. I hope you'll understand and continue looking forward for Fuji:RE when it's finally completed !

Hello there ~ The song that Toshio sings is actually a portion of the game's opening theme✨ It's an original song for which I wrote the english lyrics myself, then made it translated in japanese by RoseVerte, to finally turning it into a really beautiful song composed by Alyx (which is retired now) and sang by Reichuu now rebranded MoonJelly ~ The song is called "Asu no iro" and you can listen to it >>here<< (you can also find my original english lyrics + the japanese translation in the vid's description bar if you want to sing along) (^ w^)/

Would opening an Etsy shop for merch be possible?

Mh...I thought about it, but from what I understood while reading the TOS and searching about being an online store...it would be a bit complicated for me for mostly two reasons : 1. It seems it would be more logical to make the store my main activity/source of money as it would be a bit tricky as I would probably won't earn enough to live (as I'm a really small unknown and dev) and that I still want to focus more on the game projects rather than becoming a merch seller. 2. It means I should change my administrative status as I don't think you can open a store without having a compagny/seller status to be able to declare what you earn (?) even if you sell like only 1 or 2 stickers per months, which would be a disadvantage for me in regard of my current living situation. I still want to officially sell merch someday at some point, but for now the only "good" alternative/compromise I can think of is to send it like a regular letter after being paid via PayPal (> o <) I don't know other small devs selling merch either (if you know some, please don't hesitate to tell me), so I can't directly ask for advice or answers about how they do it either ;-;

Unfortunately not, but I wish there was (> w <) The best I can do for now I think would be sending the merch like a regular postal mail after poeple paid me via Paypal if they really want it, but...since it wouldn't be an "official" store, I don't think a lot of people would trust me/the process either xD I'd be really happy though if I had the occasion to make merch this way, as it would help supporting me and that it would be actually fun to wrap stickers/postcards together and send it to those who physically want a bit of the project with them 💖

i really loved the game and i don't need much for self insertion besides just being able to change the name, so i was wondering if that'd be possible

I'll love the game regardless ofc, the original is already such a pleasure!

Unfortunately I don't plan to make the MC's name changeable in Fujiwara Remake, but thank you for loving the game nonetheless!💖 (Though I plan to make it happen in some of my future projects not related to Fujiwara)

Hello everyone !

How are you doing these days ? Spooky season is past behind us and soon will be the holidays for those who are celebrating.

In the meanwhile, I have some update and a message from Cirro the writer for you :

"Hello everyone! This is an update by Cirro, the writer for Colors of Fate.  Unfortunately the last roughly 2 months have been pretty rough for me, as I contracted Corona in October and dealt with horrible exhaustion as a lasting after-effect, even after I had already recovered from Corona itself. This led to me falling asleep on the couch after work routinely, to the point that anything outside of the most essential tasks, nevermind engaging in fun hobbies like watching shows or playing video games, fell to the wayside. Unfortunately, this included the writing for CoF. I simply did not have the energy to do anything. My life consisted of work, getting home, eating dinner, falling asleep while watching TV on the couch and then going to bed. The weekends were spent on recovery, chores and what little socialising with family and friends I could manage to do.

On top of all of this, my work situation has gotten worse to the point that while all of this was keeping me exhausted and sick, I was (and still am) actively looking for a new full time job. Negative stress like the one I am currently facing daily at work is not something that helped improve my already pretty bad health (due to Corona) overall, and I spent a long time just trying to figure out what my next course of action should be.  The good news is that I am no longer suffering from my Corona after-effects. It took way over a month to recover from them, but I am no longer held back by exhaustion.  And while I have not found a new full time job yet, I have the support of my family and have prepared everything for new job applications, etc.   Since I have a better outlook overall right now, and my health is continuing to improve, I have started writing scenes for CoF again. The goal is still to finish both Teen Phase paths (Maid and Princess) this year. I have hope that I can reach this goal, even if it may only happen at the end of December."

As for tasks on my side, I'm done writing the french version of the compendium. I'm rewieving it and translating it this week and hopefully I'll be able to take care of all the drawings starting next week. If all goes well, I'll be able to add Cirro's work in the script early January and to finally release the compendium in both french and english toward mid or end of February 2023 ~

En attendant, j'ai une mise à jour et un message de Cirro l'écrivaine pour vous :

"Bonjour tout le monde ! Ceci est une mise à jour de Cirro, l'auteure de Colors of Fate. Malheureusement, les deux derniers mois environ ont été assez difficiles pour moi, car j'ai contracté Corona en octobre et j'ai fait face à un horrible épuisement qui a duré, même après avoir déjà récupéré de Corona lui-même. Les week-ends ont été consacrés à la récupération, aux tâches ménagères et au peu de socialisation que je parvenais à faire avec ma famille et mes amis.

En plus de tout cela, ma situation de travail s'est aggravée au point que, même si tout cela m'épuisait et me rendait malade, je cherchais (et je suis toujours) activement à la recherche d'un nouvel emploi à temps plein. Le stress négatif comme celui auquel je suis actuellement confrontée quotidiennement au travail n'a dans l'ensemble pas contribué à améliorer ma santé déjà assez mauvaise (due à Corona) dans, et j'ai passé beaucoup de temps à essayer de comprendre quelle devrait être ma prochaine ligne de conduite. La bonne nouvelle est que je ne souffre plus de mes séquelles Corona. Il m'a fallu plus d'un mois pour m'en remettre, mais je ne suis plus ralentit par l'épuisement. Et même si je n'ai pas encore trouvé de nouveau travail à temps plein, j'ai le soutien de ma famille et j'ai tout préparé pour de nouvelles demandes d'emploi, etc. Comme j'ai une meilleure perspective générale en ce moment et que ma santé continue de s'améliorer, j'ai recommencé à écrire des scènes pour CoF. L'objectif est toujours de terminer les deux parcours Teen (Maid et Princesse) cette année. J'ai bon espoir de pouvoir atteindre cet objectif, même si cela n'arrivera qu'à la fin du mois de Décembre."

Quant aux tâches dont je m'occupe de mon côté, j'ai fini d'écrire la version française du compendium. Je le relis et le traduis en anglais cette semaine et j'espère pouvoir m'occuper de tous les dessins à partir de la semaine prochaine. Si tout se passe bien, je pourrai ajouter le travail de Cirro dans le script début Janvier et enfin finir et sortir le compendium en français et en anglais vers mi ou fin Février 2023 ~

HELLOOO!! i just finished all the sweet endings for fbs and i have to admit, i'm absolutely in love with this game---especially with ryu! he was actually the one i was most curious about at the start. i fell in love with him as soon as i saw him in game and even more so during his route (and kenji's LOL, ryu kept managing to steal my attention somehow during that time).

my love for ryu aside, i just wanted to share some ryu-related projects that i have in mind atm!! thankfully i know how to sculpt, draw and sew so i'm thinking of designing and making ryu's pastel jacket, as well as plushies and bitty figures of him. it might take a lil while since i'm admittedly a bit of a slow worker, but i can't wait to show you once they're done!

It always makes me smile, because when I wrote his I was so sure he would be the least favorite (> w <) And it's awesome hearing that you are maybe planning to sew his jacket and I'm so curious about the plushies and figures as well!
