June Update

Hello everyone! So me and my homeless family have gotten through the bills and are still at a campsite thankfully as the heat has been bad. We are in the hole though due to our needs such as food and ice, we also have several bigger things we need to try to cover such as vehicle registration and a replacement battery for my mom's phone as hers is starting to bulge.

We're hoping to have tables at local markets, but to do that we need to have our needs covered and be able to cover the table rental fees. Also me and my twins birthday is later this month, and it would be nice to be able to do something small for that.

Anything helps us out, boosts can put this in front of someone able to contribute, and small amounts can add up fast. Thank you 💖

hi gang! sounds like we need a quick terminology refresh ☆ canarysage is here to help!

psd: a file format that stands for ‘photoshop document.’ can be a template or coloring but must be in photopea or photoshop

filter: anything that modifies the colors of an image (gradient map, psd coloring, etc)

coloring: presets that modify an image’s coloring (usually when people say ‘psd’ this is actually what they mean)

so, if what you’re making is for ibis paint, it is by definition, not a psd. it can be a coloring! it’s like a filter! but it’s not a psd because it’s not the file format by that name.

*i’m aware that ibis paint can make psds (i.e. save without discarding layers) but if that isn’t the format you’re sharing it in it is, by definition, not a psd.

Homeless Family Needing To Pay Phone Bill

Me and my family have managed to get in a campsite to deal with the extreme risk heat poses to us, and covered our vehicle insurance. This is the first time in a while things are looking up for us.

That said, we need to cover our phone bill so that we can stay connected to the world. We make most of our income online, and don't have any local community right now. We also need some groceries.

We appreciate any and all help, anything helps cover the smaller stuff like cooking oil or ice; Or can add up to cover bigger stuff.

Van Dwelling Disabled Family Trying To Survive The Heat

Hello everyone! So me and my homeless family have been having one hell of a month. We fell behind on bills, and then ended up being stranded on the side of the road due to a tire going flat. We're now onto our next round of bills, including a large phone bill which we rely on for income and to stay connected with the world.

The heat also is getting worse, which is a threat to us as vehicle dwellers for the same sort of reasons you don't leave a child or a dog in a hot car. So we need to try to afford some camping, which will also let us clean out our van.

I know people say this like every few weeks but if you follow edit blogs or creators that you like and you want to keep creating you actually need to interact with them. I'm not saying become best friends but if you like the stuff they make or you request from them then you should reblog and at the very least like. Not to sound entitled or whatever but a lot of edit blogs thrive off of asks and interactions.

Creating just for attention isn't the Right Way to go about things but that's not what I'm saying. Showing support is not (always) feeding an ego. I don't know if this makes sense to anyone else but yeah basically I think editblr (at least the side I'm stuck in) has had this problem recently where people still to small groups of specific editors that they hype up and don't really scope outside of them and then are like 'wow why is editblr dead?' so, this is my reminder that you contribute to the very same community.
