omfg ok I’ve seen a few posts and one in particular is the reason i feel the need to mention this but Illyana was not sexually abused in limbo? Mentally, emotionally & physically yes, but Illyana was never sexually abused & claiming that even if she was, it would be an easy way out and effortless development for her character for her to be a lesbian instead of straight is insulting both to victims of abuse and lesbians. Not only that, but to ignore that fact that she is canonically not straight and make her straight anyway is actually god awful and people should stop doing that.

A POWER IMBALANCE IN LIMBO HAS CONSEQUENCES BACK ON EARTH. In her extended absence over recent months, Illyana’s control over Limbo has waned. Its denizens, normally slavishly loyal, have begun to revolt and scheme with each other to overthrow her. Their riots have freed two of her worst enemies from their years-long imprisonment in hopes to champion them as their new rulers — N’astirih and Ananym, Belasco’s daughter. But they have much more dangerously ambitious plans in mind, by finishing what they failed to see through years ago: tearing a rift in the dimensional walls between Earth and Limbo so big that the realms bleed into one another, bringing Limbo to Earth in the most nightmarish way possible.

But to go through with it, they need two very important pieces: a portal to bridge Limbo and Earth together and a pure soul to manipulate and use as its source of power to ensure it stays open. And what better way to do it than go after their soon-to-be-former ruler’s children; one with the power to provide the gateway they need and the other with a soul so innocent it could sustain it for years?

WHAT THIS MEANS

This arc effects our MAINVERSE CANON, this is not a separate verse. For now, this arc will be contained within and progressed through threads between myself, @totallycalmtotallycool, @ribbonsandbo and @magickbodied​. But once the first part of the arc concludes and the range of people effected grows, we’ll be opening interactions within the arc to other people interested in being involved.
