Imagine an isekai language learning app about a character who uses multilingual phrases as spells to fight off evil forces but got their abilities sealed so you as the player (as them) have to 're-learn' it by retracing your journey across different regions 😂

Killer Vintage Cartoon Characters Story Concept

It’s been a while since I made mock anime concepts. I was watching creepy vintage cartoons in the background as I was making commissions and rewards so I got inspired!

Summary: A timid cartoon/anime nerd wakes up in a world different from his own teams up with a badass cartoon character to fight against rogue cartoons out to get him as he’s trying to get aboard a phantom train.

Edit: to those who say that they look too old for 40’s, yes they are.

I added wrinkles to them to make them look older(than what they’re supposed to be) than the similarly attired working-class charas in some otome games. Irl they are still not that old ( it’s only a few years from mine lol) but otome game-wise, they’re ancient yo. So we need visual differentiation. ya get what I mean, mah dudes?

my jewish fandom ass wants to write an essay about how Stan Pines is the perfect deconstruction of antisemitic caricature characters–initially we think he’s this tricky, stingy, money-obsessed character, and that’s played for laughs, but then later it’s revealed that he was forced into that lifestyle and mindset out of a desperate need to save his family. (Echoing the experience of a lot of Jewish people who were historically forced into professions like moneylending as the only way they could make a living, provide for their families, and escape destitute poverty. Which then was weaponized against them in the creation of viscous antisemitic stereotypes and tropes.)

I want to write that essay, but I feel like a lot of people on this website would willfully misunderstand me
