Hello everyone! I’m minnie ( 23, she/her,est  but tbh I’m on at weird hours for my timezone so no worries there). and I’m the one behind this soft bean that Soo is! I’m so so excited to be with all of you here with my kiddo.

━♡ guess the 23 YEAR OLD JANUARY baby just arrived to dallyeog! it makes sense, because HWANG SOOAH is just as POSITIVE as the month of JANUARY. wait, why do they remind me of PARK CHAEYOUNG/ROSE? beyond that, they seemed FAITHFUL & PATIENT upon first glance. i heard someone say they’re sort of OVERCRITICAL & RESENTFUL though. i hope they get acquainted here in COMPLEX #1 / APARTMENT #1 / FLOOR # 2; SHE seems to have a lot going on with HER job as DAYCARE WORKER.

Sooah was born and raised in Seoul by her parents who had a fairly big reputation, her father is a well-known doctor while her mom is a designer.

And she has a sister (Soohee), they are only a year apart so they basically acted as twins, where one went the other followed,  they were really alike.

It was known that the girls were pressured by her parents who wanted at least one of them (lies they wanted the two of them) to become doctors, to keep the legacy and while her sister was completely okay with it and focused on her school and being #1 on grades, Soo only did it so they wouldn’t take away her ‘hobbies’. Soo loves music and arts, she was always singing around home, even begged for a whole year (and pull all nighters to get into the top 5 grades) so she could take piano lessons yet she baerly had time since her parents always pushed her into private tutorings and stuff so from sunrise to sunset she was busy at school only to get home to keep studying and sneakily play her music and paint.

She grew tired of living that way of being pushed to do what others wanted and not what she wanted so instead of enrolling into SNU in medicine along with her sister, she walked away from her family (only keeps contact with SooHee)

That’s how she found Dallyeog, while running away.

So now she is a daycare worker, her love for little kids and with infinite patience are the reason behind her job election and she is actually happy, finally happy.

Sings during weekends at local bars and cafés (yet doesn’t count as a job since it’s not stable) inspo 1 + 2 

Her fridge is decorated with every. single. drawing the kids gift her during work. 

Personality & random facts about Sooah!

Sooah is such a bright and carefree girl, trying so hard to push down all the resentment she feels to her parents and instead live each day to the fullest to make up for the childhood and teen days she missed.

Optimistic and joyful as heck, always has a bright smile on her face and also accepting and encouraging since that was what she wanted from her parents but never got :c

Has an acustic guitar he sister gave her before she left and whenever she is not usuing it she hides it under her bed, it’s her most prized possession.

Soo is known for her blonde hair (first time she dyed it was together with her sister when she moved out of home and she just keeps it) yet she tends to change it from time to time just because she likes to try different things.
