One of my characters from my original Pokémon story, Pokémon the Series: Ivory & Ebony! Meet Gardene! Gardene is an original character I created years ago. She underwent many design and name changes over the years, but this is what she looks like now, and I feel pretty content with this look. I'm glad to finally show her off online! Her design is partly inspired by Heather from Total Drama and Shiki from The World Ends With You. Character Bios: Gardene: A smart, sweet, and beautiful girl from the Sinnoh region and one of Avan’s traveling companions. Gardene recently moved to the Arleno region with her dad. Gardene’s goal was always to become a Pokémon Doctor like her dad, but when she is introduced to Pokémon Idol, the most popular reality TV competition in Arleno, she may have other plans. Gardene has a beautiful singing voice but does not have much experience with performing. Even so, she plans to become Arleno’s next Top Idol. Gardene is also a great cook and a bit of a science nerd. (Dream VA: Haven Paschall) Phione: A Mythical Water-type Pokémon. Phione is Gardene’s first Pokémon and best friend. She met Phione while on a trip to Chocovine Town. Phione is very friendly and loyal to Gardene. It assists Gardene in treating Pokémon and performs alongside her on Pokémon Idol with its Water and Ice-type moves. Phione is good buddies with Avan’s Telsamy who is also a Mythical Pokémon. Its moves include Ice Beam and Aqua Ring. (Dream VA: Erica Schroeder)

One of my characters from my original Pokémon story, Pokémon the Series: Ivory & Ebony! Meet Avan! Avan is an original character I created years ago. He underwent many design and name changes over the years, but this is what he looks like now, and I feel pretty content with this look. His design is partly inspired by Ben 10. Character Bios: Avan: A Pokémon Trainer from the Arleno region who loves battling, art, and music. His goal is to enter the Arleno League and win. Years of being bullied for liking various unpopular subjects has made Avan a bit of a loner, but he is always kind to people he trusts. He is well known for having a unique dry sense of humor. Avan wields a mysterious Mega Ring that fell from space inside a meteor and clamped itself onto his wrist the moment he reached for it. One of the goals of his Pokémon journey is to figure out what his Mega Ring is. (Dream VA: Tom Wayland) Drifblim: A Ghost/Flying-type Pokémon. Avan and Drifblim have been friends for years, so the two of them are very close. Because Drifblim is a Pokémon that is not widely known and resembles an inanimate object, many people have labeled it as weak and useless, but its unique way of battling has proven otherwise. Thanks to the Drifblimite it wears on its waist and its strong bond with Avan, it can Mega Evolve into Mega Drifblim. Its moves include Ominous Wind and Psychic. (Dream VA: Erica Schroeder) Telsamy: A Mythical Electric-type Pokémon. Telsamy came from the same meteor that contained Avan's Mega Ring. It seems to have no memories of itself or the Mega Ring. After befriending Avan, it decided to join his team. Thanks to its strong bond with Avan, it can Mega Evolve into Mega Telsamy. It appears it doesn't need a Mega Stone to Mega Evolve, but it can only Mega Evolve using Avan's Mega Ring. Its moves include Tesla Strike and Iron Tail. (Dream VA: Michele Knotz) Shrabbit: A Grass-type Pokémon. Shrabbit is one of three Pokémon new Trainers in the Arleno region can start their journeys with. However, because many Trainers of Avan's generation are starting to think that Grass-type Starter Pokémon are weak or “not cool enough,” Shrabbit has gone through over a year without any Trainers choosing it until Avan came along. Its moves include Bullet Seed and Quick Attack. (Dream VA: Sarah Natochenny)
