Hey guys! It’s finally break time so look forward to more Pokémon mer stuff coming up in the next week! Also will be going through my ask box, end of the year stuff, grant writing, and art block are suckmasters.

Will definitely be both Submas and ScarVi stuff, because I definitely have been enjoying the new game as well.

Going to try and do some art over Thanksgiving break for both the Mer AU and for Pokemon Scarlet/Violet. Really enjoying the game so far, even with its occasional glitching. I'm not really a huge fan of Tera pokemon, not a mechanic I really use, but it doesn't really affect my gameplay either way. Although I will say, I do get a kick out of the funny hats.

Arven is now my favorite character because of his storyline. Director Clavell is my second favorite, the man just can't seem to stay out of antics.

Team Star is also growing on me, and I hope we're able to resolve their storyline in a good way. Seem kinda intimidating at first, but they're really just a bunch of lovable dorks. I will not stop laughing about Mela's choice of footwear and you cannot stop me.

Also, I may not care about Terastallizing, but I got a pair of mice with a fancy hat, so I am happy.

Yes, I am planning on continuing! I just finished giving a major presentation to my department and have a huge grant due at the beginning of October, so I've taken a bit of a break. Planning on updating once all that's finished!

Came into PokeMas today and got greeted by Emmet, panned over to the left and found Ingo staring directly at him. This was pretty funny on its own, but when I came back less than ten minutes later after doing a few battles, they were still in the exact same position, but in different outfits. XD

I’m strangely amused by this today.

Part four of the MerMas AU! Known as the one with all the cameo appearances! I cannot tell you how many times I redrew that panel with Lear. It should be the simplest one, but I dunno!

Iscan popping back in to tease Ingo about their ongoing Mighty Sinnoh debate. Since Ingo has his memories here, he is still familiar with Sinnoh's creation Trio + Arceus, and has spoken about it with both Iscan and Palina. Although they're both a bit hesitant to believe so easily, having two separate gods of time and space would solve the clan conflicts...

You have no idea how much I've wanted an excuse to draw Guzzlord, though. XD

Quick morning reblog since somehow my tags managed to break at some point.

Giratina!Ingo, because the idea of Ingo working with Giratina after our dear interdimensional worm friend goes through some character development to get home is kinda fun. Plus I've seen the idea used a couple of different ways in different fics, so it's fun to do my take on a design.

Some bonus art for the Mermas AU while I tear my hair out over panel composition. A lazy afternoon in the Coastlands. Luckily Pokeballs are waterproof, otherwise Chandelure would be quite cross by now.

The funniest possible outcome for Track A of this AU would be if Emmet and Ingo get sent home, but are still stuck as fish. Elesa opens the door to her bathroom in the middle of the night, sees two pairs of glowing eyes in her bathtub, screams and absolutely beans Emmet in the head with a bottle of soap.

More Ib Submas shenanigans. Started out with the desire to swap Garry and Ingo, because of the coats, then couldn't leave out Ib and Emmet too. Ib looks adorable in anything I think, she'd definitely make a good junior conductor!

Still working on the Submas Merman comic, and also some fanart for Ib. So, because of that, I decided to draw some fanart for Breezeful Skies amazing crossover fic, Harmonic Rock.

Now I feel the urge to draw Garry in Ingo's outfit, the shredded coats match. XD

And now up on Part Three of the Merman AU Track A - Emmet finally starts paying attention! I'm blaming his previous inattentiveness on being slam dunked into the harbor by a certain someone followed by the excitement of seeing his brother again. Both twins have a minor meltdown here followed by some brotherly bonding and poor Emmet trying to figure out what's going on with his body.

And in honor of showing off Emmet's tail, we have some color art!

Also apologies to Iscan for the very small role in this part, he'll appear more in the next part. I'm thinking just a few more for this series, and then I'll do some more of the shenanigans from Track B, in modern Unova.

God-shaming, merman AU edition. Someone's aim sucks, and they won't admit it.

Funnily enough, Track B (Amnesia Ingo, returns to Unova and scares the shit out of Emmet) has a completely different "villain" for Ingo's Isekai-ing and fishy predicament, but when Akari/Rei asks Arceus to send them both home, Ingo ends up returning as a merman because Arceus doesn't know to double check that they're actually in the state they're supposed to be in.
