“So, one of my Pokemon is...... particularly aggressive-- not like rabid or anything.” Probably. Buddy preens at his heels. “And a few others are shy and scared of everything. So, you know, they like to depend on mister bite-a-face-off if anything goes wrong, but I wanna teach them to be sort of....independent. Hold their own, at the very least. I’ll admit I’ve babied them a little, but... you know, I don’t want to coddle them so hard they get pushed around if Buddy-- uh, if the strong one ain’t around for them, you know?”

[Actually  the more i think about it Hisui being basically Actually Hokkaido in the context of Ransei being Honshu is really funny because Nobunaga did never get up to Hokkaido before he got Honnoji’d, That was Hideyoshi’s thing. And also trying to invade Korea but that didn’t end well in multiple senses of the word. 

But undeniably canon pokemon character oda nobunaga going north to conquer ye olde sinnoh region sounds like a Hoot and also a great concept for pokemon conquest 2. pls pokemon company give us pokemon conquest 2 we’re begging you.....

[I keep forgetting i can make like a Hisui verse or an adapted canon for mago where instead of ransei being in the modern age and just the Amish region of the world he can end up in sinnoh of the Correct time period.
