Ah how the plot thickens

A transmission overlay is broadcast over the orchestrion in Menphina’s, when followed it would lead to the monitors in the basement, all on - all depicting the same image of Narani as she says:  ”My dear friend, my lovers, and my colleagues, if this message is playing throughout the Manor then I am sad to admit my experiment of sending our Voidlantern to the first was unsuccessful. I had run a numerous amount of scenarios, I knew the risks, and I chose to take them in the hopes that I would be able to manifest back our lost allies that have vanished right from beneath our grasp.”  There’s a pause, a moment where she fiddles with her Starglobe as a shaky breath leaves her - ”If the simulations are to be trusted I will not be on this planet anymore, instead I will have been shattered - as the voidlantern was supposed to - and sent across the Shards if I am lucky. If I’m not then… well, know I care about you all very dearly in your own ways. I have left behind a list of items necessary to go to another planet - and perhaps return from it - beneath the right chair in front of this computer. If I am nowhere to be found please follow the instructions I have elucidated out to the best of your ability as it may be the only way for… any of us to return.”  The shuffling of paper is heard as she takes a moment, pushing up her glasses and looking back towards the recording node: ”I hope this recording does not in fact see the light of day, but if it does keep your chin up. None of us are gone. Not yet.”

-- On the paper listed are the following items

12 Ice Clusters 5 Void Matter 1 Cup Voidsent blood 10 Deep Gold Ingots 10 Evergleam Plates 2 Kamacite 6 lengths of Lingum Vitae Lumber 2 allagan tomestones A diagram to build a temporary transporter with the name Kip written on it neat cursive. A note that reads:  *Two high aetheric mages are necessary for opening a gate, once it’s open it should only need a little bit of aether now and again to keep it as such. The voidmatter should augment the power of the gate while the tomestones should amplify the accuracy of your location.* Beneath that is a rather peculiar set of coordinates to a land you have not heard of before. Menphina’s Bosom is closing down as a performance venue.

After a lot of consideration and thought we’ve decided to put an end to our Menphina’s Nights in favor of taking our FC in a better, more fun forwards direction for everyone involved. 

That’s not to say we are completely stopping events, on the contrary we’re taking a step back to hone in on what our FC does and allow for more of our group to take a chance to step up and run events they wish to do. So keep an eye out in the future as we change from Menphina’s Bosom to Menphina’s Magpies (and finally can get away from the strip club jokes.)

                                🤔  We Didn’t Try at All! 🤔

That’s right. We didn’t try at all. We absolutely didn’t spend any gil in the slightest decorating the basement to be all chocobo themed. Agent of Inquiry absolutely isn’t playing on repeat, and performers haven’t been working their asses off on classics such as: Africa, Shia LaBeouf, and Do The Mario. We absolutely do not have a catboy dressed up as God Shaggy walking around doing /powerup.

Except we did do all of this. All of the above is coming to you LIVE at 8pm EDT on April 2nd. So if you want a night of MEME excellence including a custom MEME menu made by the inglorious bastards at Memephina’s Tiddy then grats this is the night for you.
