"My stand about plagiarism, Piracy, Bias Media and the like".

I grew up believing in the quote "Lying and stealing are nextdoor neighbors". So it reminds me that when ever you are lying you are considered stealing and I know that stealing is a serious crime.

Plagiarism

Plagiarism is stealing something that is not yours and then you are claiming it as your own.

I believe that plagiarising something is something very bad and very un ethical because you are claiming works that is not done by you. Imagine presenting works that is not yours and yet the who made it does not get the credits while in fact he/she is the one who made it. There are so many ways is plagiarising it can be done by simply copying ideas from the internet and posting it or submitting it as your home works or school requirements. It can also be getting others opinion and making it as your opinion or by simply getting works posted in networking sites and making it as your own.

Piracy

I remember before when my grand father would ask me to go with him to the town i would always tell him that we will watch movie in the cinema and he would always reply "mami nalang kita tape ha tabu" which means we will only buy CD tape in the store near the market. I enjoy watching it with my cousins and brothers little did I know it is a pirated which means it is stolen or it is a copyright of the original movie. Piracy is a serious crime because you are not authorized to duplicate it and yet you are copying and making business out of it.

Bias media

When I was still young and technology is not yet that very developed so I only rely on Television. I always watched t.v so what ever is shown and newsed in the television is believed us truth. I think almost all of the people especially in the late 80's and 90's get really influenced by the Media reported in the television. Unlike now a days there are so many social networking sites where they also post news and reports. That is why it is very easy to determine now a days weather it is true or not. People now a days are more high tech and knowledgeable. But despite of the development of the technology media crimes are also developing and growing. News reporter are not anymore reporting what is true and hiding the reality from us. They are being influenced by politicians and big company to protect their names and to avoid being caught by their wrong doings.

My stand about plagiarism, Piracy, Bias Media and the like is all of these doings would never benefit us. All we thought just because it is very easy to get something even if it is not yours then submit it as your own or make it as your own it can help us but it is only making us more lazy and continue on doing bad things and habits.

We must grow and live a life where everything we do is legal and will truly benefit us. Never forget that there will always be justice in wrong doings so we must quit and leave it.

"How to be socially responsible in my social networking accounts"

Social networking simply means as interaction through social media and networking sites. It is used to let the families, friends, colleagues,love ones and others to stay connected with each other.

Having social networking accounts is a responsibility that you need to responsible enough to take good care of it. It has many purposes that is why it is needed to be manage properly. We are the one who has the full control of everything in our accounts so it means that we are the one who is uploading, sharing and operating lour social media account.

But we must also be careful in putting our informations because even though almost all of the peoples that we are interacting in social media is we know but we cannot be so sure that it would be safe. We must also be sensitive enough in posting and interacting so that we can avoid hurting others feeling.

Being responsible doesn't only means that we are being careful in posting personal informations but also maintaining our accounts active. We must upload always, share other post and liking post to maintain the social relationship with each other.

Having social networking accounts is fun and enjoy but it must come with great discipline to have a better and happy social networking life.

The song entitled "Lovesick Girls" sang by the group named Blackpink is all about a girl being sick of loved or being heartbroken.

These are the situations narrated in the song

The first one:

In this lyrics it was stated they don't want to love anymore and in line " No doctor could help me when I'm lovesick".It means that nobody could help her whenever they are broken and no one could change the pain that they are having.

The second one:

"But we were born to be alone

Yeah, we were born to be alone

Yeah, we were born to be alone

But why we still looking for love?"

In this lyrics it was said several times that we are born alone and this means that we don't need someone in our life. They also left a convincing question to us in the line "But why we still looking for love?".They are pointing out that if we can live alone why are still longing and looking for someone to love us.

The third one:

[Bridge: Rosé & Jisoo]

"Love is slippin' and fallin

Love is killin' your darlin"

This lyrics is telling us that love will just make you fall and it will only hurt you.it was also stated that love can even kill because of the too much pain that brings to us.

The song gives a convincing message to us and it also gives us lesson that to be careful of loving too much because it can only give pain .

LOVESICK GIRLS MUSIC VIDEO BY BLACKPINK

South Korean Girl Group BLACKPINK is back last October 2, 2020 with their Full Album called “THE ALBUM” with their title track “Lovesick Girls”

Lovesick Girls is a song about girls who felt lovesick after numerous heartbreaks. The girls shared their thoughts about being in love in this song. It was written by 2 members of the 4 membered girl group. The music video was released last October 2, 2020 1PM KST. 

The music video started with the girls being happily in love with a guy. The girls were singing and dancing happily. The set was completely amazing without affecting or over lapping the song. The song also matched the set perfectly, lovely at the same time lonely. As the music video goes on the mood of the scenes change. As the song becomes heartbreaking, the girls and the set became sad and heartbreaking. Paints were scattered and the whole set was a mess which matches the song perfectly.

The whole music video lasted for 3 minutes and 22 seconds. The song matched the visuals, talent and set perfectly and it did not affect any of it.

What is MEDIA?

This is a term which covers all the means of communication which have functions such as informing, raising awareness, education, socialization, entertainment and agenda setting, including all kinds of oral, written and visual images. 

COMMUNICATION PROCESS

The 6 components that enable the transmission of message and information:

sender - the person that is delivering a message to recipient.

message - the content of the communication process.

channel - the transmition of delivering the message.

decoding - the interpretation of the message performed by the receiver of the message.

receiver - the person who is getting or receiving the message.

feedback - response of a receiver to sender's message.

SHANNON-WEAVER COMMUNICATION MODEL

This model is specially designed to develop the effective communication between sender and receiver. also they find factors which affecting the communication process called “noise”. at first the model was developed to improve the technical communication. later it’s widely applied in the field of communication.

sender (information source) - sender is the person who makes the message, chooses the channel and sends the message.

encoder (transmitter) - encoder is the sender who uses machine, which converts message into signals or binary data. it might also directly refer to the machine.

channel - the medium used to send message.

decoder (receiver) - the machine used to convert signals or binary data into message or the receiver who translates the message from signals.

FEEDBACK MECHANISM

Feedback is the final component and one of the important factors in the process of communication. It is defined as the response given by the receiver to the sender. 

KINDS OF MEDIA

TRADITIONAL MEDIA

generally defines the advertising we’ve seen for almost 100 years.  kinds of media that were invented prior to the invention of the internet.   

PRINT MEDIA

This type of news media used to be the only way of delivering information to the public. 

Newspapers – printed and distributed on a daily or weekly basis. They include news related to sports, politics, technology, science, etc. Today’s parents grew up with this type of printed media.

Magazines – printed on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, or annual basis. It contains information about finance, food, lifestyle, fashion, sports, etc.

Books – focused on a particular topic or subject, giving the reader a chance to spread their knowledge about their favorite topic.

Banners – used to advertise a company’s services and products, hung on easily-noticed sights to attract people’s attention.

Billboards – huge advertisements created with the help of computers. Their goal is to attract people passing by.

Brochures – a type of booklet that includes everything about one company – its products, services, terms and conditions, contact details, address, etc. They are either distributed with the newspapers, or hand over to people.

Flyers – used mostly by small companies due to the low cost of advertising. They contain the basic information about a company, their name, logo, service or product, and contact information, and they are distributed in public areas.

BROADCASTING MEDIA

is radio and television. Even amidst the pop culture dominance of the internet, broadcast media still commands the largest share of the advertising pie nationwide. 

Television - in the past, there were a few channels sharing various types of content, whereas now we have hundreds of TV channels to choose from. Each channel delivers a different type of content, so you have a separate channel for news, drama, movies, sports, animation, nature, travel, politics, cartoon, and religion. It’s the number one broadcasting media due to its reach to the audience.

Radio – radio is widely used for advertising products and services. Radio is one of the oldest means of entertainment, and today people often hear it to find out the weather and traffic while commuting.

Movies – film, motion picture, screenplay, moving picture, or movie has world-wide reachability. The best type of mass media to promote cultures and spread social awareness. Movies have always played a huge part in the entertainment world.

NEW MEDIA

a term coined to refer media that developed when the use of computer technology became ordinary and common in most parts of the world

Social networks or websites – including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Tumblr, LinkedIn, Snapchat, Quora, Reddit, Pinterest, etc. They are user-friendly and widely used by people around the world. Although we can find any news here, they may be misleading because of the lack of regulations on the content shared.

Online forums - an online place where we can comment, message, or discuss a particular topic. Forums allow us to share knowledge with other people with the same interest. That’s why it’s regarded as the best platform to seek support and assistance.

Podcast – a series of audios focused on a particular topic or theme. We can listen to them on a computer or a mobile phone. It’s a platform that allows anyone to share their knowledge and communicate with the world.
