kinda thinking about popping onto this blog tbh. i didn't really get to use this version of selene before vanishing and i did like what i had noted about her

hey i hate to seem like an attention seeker or anything of the sort but please remember to tag eyestrain (eg. glitch effects, high sat + contrast images, those hypnotic black and white swirly gifs, flashing gifs, etc.). as someone who is eye sensitive i've seen them untagged on my dash quite a few times now. even if you think something you post might be eyestrainish, it's always safer to tag it than to leave it untagged. please keep this in mind in the future, thanks

well i got hit by a car while driving home from work :)

mostly okay i just had to stay in the hospital for a few hours bc of the awkward way i slammed my knee upon the impact. it was the guy in the other lane having an attention lapse and forgetting to signal and shoulder check when he switched lanes, so the back of his car hit the front of mine while he switched. luckily my car took the brunt of the damage, it's pretty scratched up near the front left tire

i'll try to do stuff tomorrow (got a few followers so i'll read over their rules when i get the chance) but today i'm exhausted, already tired of using crutches, and in pain, so i might just work on palkia graphics and my mumu interest checker

You don’t need to say you’re disabled, physically ill, mentally ill, neurodivergent, working overtime, etc as a reason to not reply to your roleplay partners instantaneously. You don’t need to have any reason for not dropping everything to respond to roleplay partners. This culture of "instant replies" is very new, and it's also unrealistic. Nobody should be expected to be online and responding 24-7. Even if someone is online on discord, Skype, Wire, etc, don't expect them to respond to you immediately. And if you're on the other side, don't beat yourself up for not responding to people immediately, for literally any reason!

Give yourself some grace, take a deep breath. It's ok. People will understand, and if they don't, then they're not worth your worry.
