You know... this may be just a me thing, but I dont like saying "i kin [blank]" or "I'm a fictionkin of [blank]" like... I'm not a fictionkin of them, I don't just identify, I AM [blank]. I hate, hate, HATE saying that I'm a [blank] fictionkin. It makes me so mad and makes me feel soooo invalidated. Jfc.

Also! You say you use any of your kins names, but you are Mahito. I know Mahito is kinda genderless, because you are a curse, but are you like a female Mahito or just masculine Mahito who uses she/her pronouns? ^^

Just curious! The fictive Mahito in my system uses he/they pronouns.

I identify with my masculine look from the anime, but go by she/her pronouns. For friends, if they address me as Mahito, he/him is also fine tho. It's just not what my irl body looks like, so it feels unusual

Have you ever thought you were one character, but then later on you realized that you are a similar character or like a relative/friend of the character you thought you were?

Also, any tips for someone who is a kin from a game that’s developer is kinda a scumbag? Like I’m ashamed to admit that I am the main character of the game…

As for the first question: kinda. I had situations where I very strongly got that "kin feeling" while watching a series, but I couldn't figure out which character I am at first.

As for the second question: you don't have to feel ashamed. You have no control over who the developer is and you also have no control over your kins. It's fine. You're valid

I only feel kin with my HxH OC and then another one from a game I am too scared to say because I am scared people will hate me, but I kin her a lot!!

Anyway, sorry about my kinself-dump. How do you manage with so many shifts? And what about your self-ships? Do they affect your kin shifts?

It does get confusing between all the shifts ngl. But it's not like I can change it, so I just deal with it haha.

And my self ships don't really affect my shifts tbh. Neither the other way around. I don't kin anyone from my f/os' medias, which makes it easier I think. And my s/i's obviously incorporate character traits and personality aspects of my kins, since,,, well,,,, they're all me in some way. So my self ships and my kin shifts don't clash at all. I hope that made sense haha.
